For the past 10 years or so I've noticed my hair progressively getting thinner and my hairline recede. Noticeably the top and a patch in the front. I scheduled a consultation and had a discussion with Dr Shanthala regarding my concerns and expectations. This procedure required commitment to the process so she made sure I was completely informed before proceeding. She recommended Nutrafol and Viviscal vitamins for a few months before we began injections. I was able to purchase them at her practice which was very convenient. I hate needles, specifically blood being drawn, but the Dr's demeanor and local anesthetic made that part easier. The procedure of multiple injections in my scalp was not painless, but bearable. She customizes the treatment by using different methods of intection and infusion. I had my second treatment and we focused on specific areas, and I am very happy to report that after each treatment I am seeing improvement. I would highly recommend Dr Shanthala to anyone, at the very least to have a consultation. You learn a lot and get to chat with a very pleasant and educated doctor who knows exactly what she is doing and why. The WHY is crucial for anyone considering any treatment, I believe. I have shared my photos online and told a lot of people about this. I'm excited to see more results after my 3rd treatment!
