Steven Kelly, owner of SERVPRO of Beckley, was an insurance claims representative during which time he saw a huge need for a Fire & Water Cleanup and Restoration Company to service his hometown and the communities surrounding Beckley. He witnessed that in other more populated areas, property owners were able to get back in their homes or businesses much quicker, with lower cost, and contents saved instead of being thrown away because of the processes used and the resources available by SERVPRO Industries Inc. He purchased the SERVPRO Franchise and after extensive training and certifications at SERVPRO headquarters he opened the business in 1999. From 1999 until 2016, SERVPRO of Beckley performed restoration services for fire, water, and mold damages. We were proud of our work and our customers were pleased with the end results but we just felt like something was missing. So in 2017, experienced and skilled construction laborers were added to our staff so when Reconstruction services were necessary after we finished the remediation, we truly can make it “Like it never even happened.”
