4/23/2016-I rented this unit for one week beginning 4/23/16. It has been the worst vacation rental I have ever stayed in. When we arrived the unit had not been cleaned at all. There were dirty sheets on the beds, towels on the floor, the tub had a very black ring and still had the previous renters shampoo, soap, etc. I call the office and they sent someone out at about 4:00. She was there from 4 to 6:00. During that time We could not unpack, and I felt I needed to be present while she cleaned,therefore from 2:00 to 6:00, the first day of our vacation was spent in the condo. I cleaned the kitchen which was filthy and had the previous renters food items in the fridge . The kitchen was poorly stocked (e.g.: 1 wine glass, no storage containers. etc..) The garbage disposal didn't work, and I called about that too. It was not fixed during our stay. There was a note on the wall dated June 13, 1915, reporting the garbage disposal broken. The sink would not drain and was filled with dirty water the entire week. There was a pair on men's dirty underwear under our bed (not ours and we found them after the maid cleaned). Some of the dishes and silverware in the cabinet had food still on them. The second bedroom smelled strongly of urine. I asked the maid to take all the blankets and comforters and wash them as they were urine soaked. She took them and said they would be brought back clean. We never got the linens back. A maintenance man came out to see me on Saturday and Sunday, but he didn't fix anything, he just drained the sink, which filled up again as soon as it was used. He said he would report it to the office and it would be fixed on Monday. No one showed up on Monday. I called the office many times to complain, each time I was told the owner would be contacted and I would receive a call back. I never received a call back. I have been vacationing in Myrtle Beach almost every year since 1989. This was the worse experience I have ever had. And it seemed that they had already gotten our money and were deaf to complaints about the unit. I will NEVER rent from Sloan Realty again. I asked for at least a partial refund, and was told by the Sloan agent, that she would get back to me about that request. Surprise! she never did.nn
