Stanford Auto Centre Inc

I booked an appointment with Stanford for a specific repair, and was told I had to wait 3 weeks. I waited and brought in my vehicle. Stanford took it upon themselves to give my vehicle an inspection, and found other issues. Ok, fair enough. They gave me a ballpark quote, and I said proceed. They then called and said I needed a driveshaft, and that they would put in a used one, and that they had one coming from Kelowna. Again, OK. I was travelling to Alberta, and mentioned I could get the same part, but for approximately $350 less than Stanford would charge me, but they didn't feel comfortable going this route. Again, OK. Anyway, 12 days after dropping off my truck, I got tired of seeing it sitting on the road and went in to see what was going on, and the answer was nothing. Their used part guy couldn't find the item, therefore nothing was done to my truck. When I indicated we wouldn't be in this position if they allowed me to use the part I located, Noah got pissed off, grabbed my key from the keybox, and said here, no charge, take your truck. So in short, I waited 3 weeks to get into Stanford, waited another 2 weeks for the work to be done, and all I have to show for it is really shitty customer service and a dirty truck. Noah indicated "no charge" for the inspection he gave that wasn't asked for, nor required. This is a vehicle that passed inspection 6 months ago...
