Mr Lube, Burnaby Reviews (7)
Thanks to Negi for providing best assistance! Highly recommended this place!
Came in for an oil change, chirag helped and was knowledgable. They recommended I needed more work done but decided to wait and check other prices since it seemed a little high.
The service was excellent and the technicain was excellent. His name was. Chirag Satish.
What bad can i say? Everytime i come here they get the job done, always see Josi here and hes been very helpful no matter what. Great job u guys!
Went in yesterday for a common oil change. Ended up paying 65 for what should have been 45 because of all these extra things they add on to the bill. Additionally, recommended that it was necessary to get my transmission fluid changed..I had it done only 20000 km ago, not necessary to change until 50000km. They showed me how dirty t was. Of course it's dirty, it'll be dirty the day or two after you do it. Also suggest I get my coolant done, they said it looks like the original in the car. I laughed because I always keep my car freshly updated. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL RECOMMEND UNNECESSARY WORK DONE. SEEMS TO BE A SCAM.
My experience was VERY NEGATIVE at this Mr. Lube location. I have been to other Mr. Lubes in the past and they have all provided quality service, so I have nothing against the chain. The manager at this Mr. Lube in particular treated me very unfairly and I am very dissatisfied. I went in for an oil change and the mechanic pushed me to change my transmission fluid as well. My car was only at 33 K, no where near needing a transmission fluid change (which I know now!), but trusting him I agreed to the service because he made it sound very urgent. As soon as I drove off the lot I felt that my car was not driving properly. The damage from the inadequate service they did on my transmission cost me $1400 to fix, on top of the original service of $340. Though I have provided the manager with ample evidence that it was his shop's fault, he refuses to reimburse me. I usually don't write reviews but I am hoping that by sharing my story I can save someone else from going through the same hassle and losing so much money and time.
good job

Until the mid-seventies, most oil changes were still being done by service stations and car dealerships. But entrepreneur Cliff Giese of Edmonton, Alberta sensed an opportunity.
Cliff invented the 'drive-thru' quick oil change concept and in 1976 opened the first Mr. Lube store in Edmonton. Never before had an oil change and lube been so fast, convenient and affordable. By 1984, Mr. Lube had 45 stores across Canada and had initiated its Canadian Franchise Program.
NOW we have 88 stores across Canada providing a full range of vital fluid services and other preventative vehicle maintenance. We're the country's leader in the industry - and still growing.
