Issue was front brake binding on one side leading to overheating brakes. The dealer suggested replacing the entire braking system. Another shop couldn't solve the problem as it was intermittent and could only suggest selling the truck rather than dealing with the issue. Took it John and Murray on a friend's recommendation who quickly solved the problem (the 4 WD truck has two cylinders per side one of which was binding). Told me I didn't need the discs turning and the pads had plenty of life on them. Suggested replacing the brake lines as they were off and were relatively inexpensive. Total came to $350 or so. Amazing insight and problem solving.
