A former assistant team physician for the Baltimore Orioles, Dr. Koman's interest in orthopedic sports medicine stems from his experience as a Division 1 college athlete. “Sports medicine is a natural choice for me as it perfectly combines my interest in orthopedic medicine and love of sports,” he explains. Dr. Koman's expertise is in the field of arthroscopic surgery including multiple ligament reconstructions of the knee and labral and rotator cuff repairs of the shoulder.
