I rented a car in June for the weekend from the Regent Avenue, Winnipeg location. First car I was given was making a rattling noise, so I phoned the manager of the location and he had told me that it was nothing to worry about and that it was probably just a mechanical issue! I told him that I was not expecting to rent a car with a mechanical issue and that I would like a different car as I was going to be on the highway with it. The next day I went to pick up my second car and again the manager said to me that he didn't understand why I was worried because it was probably just the ball joints! I told him that I was surprised they allowed cars out with "mechanical issues". Not once did I receive an apology for the inconvenience. When I left with the second car I had noticed that the gas tank didn't seem to be quite on the full mark, but wasn't too concerned and thought maybe that is where it sits when it is full. When I filled up the car prior to my return, I noticed that the tank wasn't full when I picked it up and mentioned to the girl behind the counter, she said there was nothing they could do about that. So I ended up paying for more gas then I used.

I had sent an email to the owner of the company regarding my car rental experience..it has been about 6 weeks and have not received an acknowledgment or reply from him.

Then I received a call about two weeks later saying I had received a photo radar ticket, I saw the ticket and knew it was mine, it was from a school zone, which I clearly did not realize it was (but my fault). I phoned to pay the ticket and had given the manager my credit card information. After the payment was made he sent me a receipt and much to my surprise the amount they took from my credit card was $100 more then the ticket. I am not impressed that not once in any of our conversations did he mention to me that the amount they wanted to charge was going to be that much more. I am now in the process of trying to fight this amount as this should have been told to me prior to me paying the ticket. End result...DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! My first experience with them will definitely be my last. Thank you Winnipeg U-Drive Car Rental for not caring about your customer service!!

First of all they lie and people think they are at the airport which they ARE NOT. THEY ARE TOO CHEAP TO PAY THE FEES TO HAVE A KISOK OUT THERE. THEIR LOCATION IS QUITE FAR FROM THE AIRPORT TO BE HONEST. They may send a shuttle person which can take up to an hour, so not only are you lied to you are left waiting for somebody to show up. They do not have what you wanted on a reservation so end up with a downgraded beater. Horrible service, staff arguing in front of customers and smoking by the door. STAY AWAY FROM ANY OF THE WINNIPEG U DRIVE LOCATIONS Enterprise came to the rescue and will stick with them from now on. This low class place is related to the other rip off place DON VITO THEY ARE ALL RELATED THAT IS WHY THEY SEND CUSTOMERS TO WPG U DRIVE TO RIP THEM OFF FURTHER. STEER CLEAR there is not a rating low enough for either place wpg u drive or don vito I would give them both a minus 10
