For ease of mind and much relief on the pocket book, I would not hesitate to rent a car from this establishment on Meridian Road in the future should I require such a service again. The manager, Bill was most helpful, courteous and conscientious right from the get go and on to the last minute of my car rental experience. The vehicle was a beauty to drive, clean and in excellent condition plus thanks to Bill's recommendation, easily met the needs and requirements I was seeking in which to transport my elderly mother. Their service of shuttling to and from the airport was very much appreciated with an acceptable and reasonable wait for pick up upon arrival. There were no hidden surprises in the way of charges up front, nor upon the closing of the contract. It is with absolute confidence and surety that I would recommend RentAWreck/Practicar on Meridian Road in Calgary if you are in need of renting a vehicle in this area.

Overall had a wonderful experience with rent-a-wreck! I had left my car rental until the last minute, after searching forever online I found this wonderful company. They were at least $100 cheaper than any other rental company. The car was a great 2012 Chevy Malibu, super clean and was very impressed. The owner was very accommodating by picking me up as well as dropping me off at the airport. Great experience, would recommend to anyone, and now that I know about it, I will be renting from them in my area as well! Thanks!

Bill, the owner, stayed open late to accommodate the late arrival of our plane, picked us up and got us on our way promptly. The minivan was perfect for our needs and served us well. The price was right and the distance from the airport and the short shuttle ride (about 15 minutes) was not an inconvenience. We would use this service again.

I took my VW into the shop on short notice, thus needed a car. The Rent a Wreck is right beside the VW. I simply walked over and 10 minutes later left with a great rental. I would recommend anyone needing a rental to contact Rent a Wreck. Loved it!
