Had the captioned work done at 149 West Drive on September 10, 2011, usually do these jobs in my drive way, but just acquired this used vehicle, don't have a shop manual as yet, and I was concerned about the visible condition of the transmission oil so hurriedly went to this Brampton location. When he quoted me the cost of $ 199 plus taxes I was surprised, quized him, and he even suggested the Hyundai dealership would be higher - like about $ 225 plus taxes !!! Got the job done for a total of $ 225.99(incldg taxes)

Rip off!! On wednesday Sept 14th I called the Mississauga dealership for prices. they quoted me $ 109.95 plus taxes for the tranny oil R & R. They also told me the vehicle uses only 4 litres, not the 7 litres submitted by the Mr Lube and shown on the Mr Lube invoice.

I'll never stop at this location for any work again, that's for sure. Beware.

what thew dealer quoted you is the price for a drain and fill transmission service not a transmission flush your system hold total 7 litres ( includes tranmission housing, cooler lines torque converter and cooler) the 4 litre transmission service only drains the transmission housing so you have dirty fluid mixing with new and the fluid goes dirty in half the time to properly change your fluid you have to flush the system with a transmission flush machine hence the extra cost.

Nov 09/07 I have been served at 2400 Keele St.After I came at I had started to think something wrong with the price. To check the prices around I called few Mr.Lube in Toronto, Scarborough, Mississauga locations. The price for cabin air filter GM97103P at 2400 Keele St.(what they gave me)was $40.00 more then in those locations I called to find out about the prices.I don't understand that much about cars like men,but I always will check and compare. Now I'm waiting for respond from their manager(he will contact me on Thursday,Nov16/07)I called and talked to the guy who sold that filter, asked for $89.00(the price is $49.99).but he gave coupon for $10.00 so the price came to $79.99 ($30.00 over) and he was not polite on the phone, said"Why don't you come back ,i put your old filter back and return your money" He did wrong thing, those his words are very good proof to it.I never would recomend for you to go this location. We always go to Mr.Lube before winter starts, but i would never go back to this location.

Why is it that when men review car places... they have great service and women are ripped off and treated poorly?? Nina.. read the review Of Midas Auto SVC Experts by Jimmy...

Perhaps it is the people who choose to respond, Jennifer. I know that my fiance has been using the same Mr. Lube for years, and she's treated as a valued customer.
I know for a fact she's not treated any differently than I am when I go there.. we both get excellent service.
Of course.. every franchisee and location are different.

Additional business details

Until the mid-seventies, most oil changes were still being done by service stations and car dealerships. But entrepreneur Cliff Giese of Edmonton, Alberta sensed an opportunity. Cliff invented the 'drive-thru' quick oil change concept and in 1976 opened the first Mr. Lube store in Edmonton. Never before had an oil change and lube been so fast, convenient and affordable. By 1984, Mr. Lube had 45 stores across Canada and had initiated its Canadian Franchise Program. NOW we have 88 stores across Canada providing a full range of vital fluid services and other preventative vehicle maintenance. We're the country's leader in the industry - and still growing.
