I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent service I received at Mr. Lube at 1976 St. Joseph Blvd, Ottawa. During my visit for a routine oil change, I was informed that my transmission line was broken and in need of immediate attention. However, after seeking a second opinion from my trusted mechanic, it was revealed that the transmission line was perfectly fine. This deceptive claim has left me feeling taken advantage of, and I am compelled to share my experience to warn others about the dishonest practices at Mr. Lube Orleans.
Not only did Mr. Lube provide false information about the condition of my vehicle, but they also attempted to sell me an unnecessary transmission sealer. It was only after consulting with my mechanic, who charged a reasonable $135 for a thorough inspection, that I learned the truth about the supposed "broken" transmission line.
This incident raises serious concerns about the integrity and honesty of Mr. Lube Orleans. Customers rely on service providers to offer accurate assessments and transparent communication, especially when it comes to automotive maintenance. The false diagnosis and attempt to charge for non-existent repairs have eroded my trust in Mr. Lube Orleans.
I strongly urge others to exercise caution when considering Mr. Lube Orleans for their automotive needs. It is crucial to verify any suspicious claims and seek a second opinion before agreeing to costly repairs. I hope that sharing my experience will prompt Mr. Lube Orleans to re-evaluate their business practices and prioritize honesty and integrity in their dealings with customers.

Avoid bringing your vehicle there. Went for a tire swap and they completely demolished my passenger side wheel well protector and mud flap.

They will not assume responsibility.

Great friendly service. I was surprised at how thorough everyone was and I appreciate the check and balance system they have in play. Travis and the entire team were very informative and professional.

I would like to thank Shane, the store manager for the Mr Lube located on St Joseph Boulevard in Orleans for wonderful service he provided.
I brought my vehicle for the oil change, but there was an issue... The manager dealt with it really well: he took care of the issue immediately, was polite. Time was needed to fix my vehicle but Shane was in touch with me all the time: he called/texted to provide updates, was easy to reach when I wanted to talk to him myself. The manager made sure that the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I would like to thank Shane for the professional approach and also praise him for being a nice person.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! Yesterday Feb 26 2016 my wife and I brought her car in immediately after having it undercoated and the BS started. You need this , you need that blah blah blah. With the exception of oil changes I always do all my own work on cars and you're about to understand why. First they start with "you should get an engine flush", the car had this done 3 months ago! Then they proceeded to tell us the drain plug was seized. Ok I said, give me a bump cap so I can go into the pit and have a look, it wasn't siezed the bolt head had been stripped round. After having to explain to the how to remove a rounded bolt and installing a new drain plug everything seemed to go well. We left and immediately noticed the car wasn't running right, high rpm's, hard shifts, Traction Control light was on and the speedometer wasn't working. I told my wife that it could have been a number of things and I would check it at home, thinking it could have been the Krown oil spray seeped into a plug, maybe it was disconnected by accident. Took a quick look yesterday but decided to have a better look today because of the milder temperature. I put her car up on the ramps and under I went only to find that they had painted the new drain plug with grey paint, ok whatever it's odd but no biggie. Keep looking around and find that the Vehicle Speed Sensor had been disconnected and both ends of that plug were also painted, keep in mind that this is just mere hours after having the car undercoated so anything "new" would stand out like a sore thumb, and it did! There is no doubt in my mind that this was done to sell a tranny flush. Leave their shop and the car is shifting rough, bring it back to them to have them tell me it needs a flush and had I done that I would have surely got a tranny flush as they plugged the sensor back in, hey look car runs great now, must have need that tranny flush......not! I've taken date marked photos, photocopied all my bills and will be taking this to the authorities first thing Monday morning. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES! you see reports on TV about crooks like this and think I'll never get scammed........you're wrong, they're doing this right here in Orleans

Hello evryone,
I have been a customer of Mr. Lube, Orleans location for 3 or 4 years now. It took me a long time to trust anyone other than my mecanic to work on my truck, but the time I save is very valuable and all at a fare price. Most of the staff have treated me like royalty during my visits. Aside from the occassional tenage attitudes, the one or two staff members with common sence and budding professionalisim makes up for it and will keep me coming back.
Thank you to those that care about the work they do. It is being noticed by those that matter, your customers.

Additional business details

Until the mid-seventies, most oil changes were still being done by service stations and car dealerships. But entrepreneur Cliff Giese of Edmonton, Alberta sensed an opportunity. Cliff invented the 'drive-thru' quick oil change concept and in 1976 opened the first Mr. Lube store in Edmonton. Never before had an oil change and lube been so fast, convenient and affordable. By 1984, Mr. Lube had 45 stores across Canada and had initiated its Canadian Franchise Program. NOW we have 88 stores across Canada providing a full range of vital fluid services and other preventative vehicle maintenance. We're the country's leader in the industry - and still growing.
