I bought an older vehicle with very low mileage thinking it was a great buy. Very low listing price compared to the blackbook value. Test drove it on a near empty tank. Bought it with extended warranty. Realised it had awful gas mileage. Find out during an oil change that it neads an upper ball joint and shocks are almost done. Put 20,000km for a total of 74,000km and the alternator breaks down. My mechanic suspect they rolled back the odometer as he had never heard of an alternator failing at 74,000km. I approached the dealer and they refused to compensate for the repairs. I have "owned" the vehicle for 11 months and already have a major repair not covered under warranty. Never again will I buy a used vehicle from any dealership.
