Fix My Slab performs foundation repair for residential and commercial customers with unlevel structures. We repair concrete foundations, pier and beam structures, and block and base structures through the use of concrete pilings, steel piers, and other types of adjustment. Our customers are typically residential homeowners in the Greater Houston area and in East Texas. We have done work in other areas but these are our concentration. Fix My Slab has also expanded its customer base to include more commercial work, in which cases our contacts are property managers or business owners. Potential customers will often observe cracks in the walls, bricks, or other masonry, or doors or windows that stick. Customers call us or reach us through the Internet. We then set up an estimate date that is convenient for them. Either the owner, Ty Stricklin, or the general manager, Eric Ewing, meets with the customer and gives a repair plan and bid at no charge for homeowners. Upon choosing Fix My Slab, the customer receives a firm repair date that is usually within two weeks. The repair method most often used is the concrete pressed piling. Concrete pilings are cylinders that are 12 inches long and stacked on top of each other underneath the foundation of the home until a point of refusal is reached. When the structure is ready for final leveling, either Ty or Eric is there to oversee the work and meet with the customer, should he or she have any concerns. The work area is then returned to it's previous state. Finally, the customer is then mailed a warranty, if applicable.
