Auction Buyers Beware ! Terrible and unprofessional customer service from store manager Andrew. I won an auction September 9 and went to the location to pay and pickup. I was informed the auction should have been removed because customer made arrangements to pay the day prior. Customer did not pay so legally the unit is mine. Andrew called the customer right in front of me to hurry in and pay. I immediately filed a complaint with the customer service group directed to acting regional manager Ian. I did not receive a call back. September 16, an email was sent to Alex ( actual regional manager ) to contact me. I have had no response.
Andrew was terrific, very professional, specific, helpful, and offered a lot of options aid suggestions. He showed me the locker personally... thank you very much Andrew !
Andrew was amazing, made renting a unit a very easy and smooth process! Prices are really reasonable. Ive rented from numerous competitors this one is the best in my opinion.

Dated, tons of pot holes throughout property. Broken glass on the ground wasn’t cleaned up for the entire month I was there. Terrible customer service at the front desk (chubby guy that is apparently the property manager?). Go to any other storage facility. This place and the rude chunkster at the front counter will leave a bad taste in your mouth.
It’s clear they don’t value their customers or care about providing fair service. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the headache and find a storage provider that actually respects its customers.
I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated I am with this storage company. First, they overcharged me four times my regular rent without any explanation or warning. When I reached out to customer service, they gave me the runaround and refused to provide a clear answer.
After dealing with their ridiculous pricing, I decided to cancel my account and move out. I made sure to vacate the unit before the end of the month, only to find out they charged me for an entire additional month! When I contacted them to resolve this, they claimed it was "policy" and refused to refund me immediately. Instead, they said it would take 5 business days to process a refund, as if I should be okay with waiting for my own money to be returned after their mistake.

Not rented yet but this 1 star is for your service. Made reservation & got email confirmed making payment on moving date. But 2 days before moving date got email request making payment to secure reservation or will be canceled??? not about money, its about service. bullshit.
Today we were helped by Ashley at Storage Mart. Overall she was super helpful! This would be our third storage unit at this location that she’s helped my family with and can’t say how stress free and easy it’s been, the entire process has been quite smooth. We look forward to moving our stuff in as the units are well maintained.

The customer service was excellent. Andrew acted professionally and respectfully. I wish that all business owners had someone like him to represent them.
My partner and I booked a storage unit online on the Storage Mart website, while on the phone with customer service rep Cecil. Online showed that the unit we chose (and every other large unit that was available) was offered on promotion for a “Free Month”. Cecil explained that because we were booking the unit from 30-Oct-2024, we would be charged full fee, pro-rated for 2 days and then our “free month” would kick in effective 01-Nov-2024. On 30-Oct-2024, my partner went on-site (81 Arrow Road, North York), the “on-site manager” was at the desk. We paid $106. and my partner asked, multiple times, that he was paying $106. for the entire month, to which the on-site manager said “yes”. We moved items in, and when we tried to return a week later, we were locked out. When I called in to inquire, I was told that we are not being offered the free month and that the $106 paid was for 2 days (October 30 & 31st). Please see the attached photos of what we are being invoiced for the month of November - $1400. I have tried, multiple times, to get in touch with the regional manager. I have put in 3 requests/escalations over the past week and a half for the him to call or email me, as the customer service reps are not permitted to give out his contact info. This is very upsetting and extremely inconvenient. Every other storage facility in the GTA offers the first month free. This is not a promotion only specific to Storage Mart. I would not have picked this facility had I known I would be bamboozled and then ignored, while my property is being held hostage.

English is my spouse’s second language, his comprehension of the language is not the best, however, we were both told by Cecil (the rep from the call centre) that we would receive the free month starting 01-Nov-2024. WHY NOT JUST APPLY THE PROMOTION. THIS HAS BEEN A HEADACHE, WHEN IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE. This was clearly a glitch on their system, and could have been amended immediately. The website showed the unit we selected did in fact offer the promo when we reserved it. I have checked the website everyday since and it CONTINUES to show the unit with the free month promo (see photo).

Andrew was great! He made the check in process a breeze. Made sure all my questions were answered leaving me confident in choosing StorageMart.
I rented the storage online, went to check in and was welcomed with warm smiles. Must say best service so far, easy check in, the staff are so kind and helpful. The locker is a great size!

Ashley at 81 Arrow Road gave superb customer service when I was completing the process to get my new storage unit in-person! I also received amazing customer service over the phone with a Storage Mart employee (name unknown) when initially looking for a unit.
I definitely recommend Storagemart for your moving and storage needs. Andrew's gave excellent customers service the signing of the documents was seamless. Thanks so much for the great experience. He went above and beyond to help us.
The women in training helped me to find my new locker. She is great and so helpful and also a friendly staff. Hope that she stays here for the longest time, so every time I come here, I can see a smiling person in the office.
Excellent experience, I got a storage with them last week, I came back for a parking spot and they gave me a great experience again. They made everything easy for set up. They helped me out a lot.
