MAKE CERTAIN YOU DON'T ACCIDENTALLY MAKE "KEVIN" MAD.

I called at 4:56 pm on a Friday for a service call on my ac unit they installed within a year that just quit working. Was informed my warranty would not cover the call because it was after hours and the weekend. It was 94 degrees in the house and my ferret was struggling to breathe so didn't think I had a choice. The service tech "Kevin" said he would be there in an hour. Thought he was a pretty nice guy. At the last minute someone offered two window units to hold us over till Monday so the warranty would cover the service, so I called to make sure I understood him correctly and told him I may need to cancel till Monday. HE ABSOLUTELY BLEW UP ON ME!!!! He proceeded to tell me he was black balling me and to find a different company to fix my problem (which by the way I wouldn't even have a warranty with) and hung up on me. I tried calling him back and the second time he answered and I apologized profusely and tried to assure him I didn't realize it was going to offend him and he could go ahead and come and I would pay him his $165.00 fee just for coming. I wanted to be fair and compensate for his trouble. He would have no part of it. He said I was rude and totally inconsiderate for making him take time away from his family and wasting his time. I begged him to just come and let me pay him (he was only four minutes out at this time) and he refused and said he would have his office manager call to collect the money.

I would understand if I was unwilling to make it right and was just being a jerk to him but I was begging him to forgive me and work it out but he would have no part of it. He was so mad at me the office manager had to calm him down.

I have never been treated so ridiculously unkind by any company and feel that he was unbelievably unprofessional. You just don't treat your customers that way, especially when they are kind to you and attempting to make it right. It was unfathomable!

Thank God the office manager "Lyta" was apologizing left and right for his behavior and was willing to get back to me with the warranty information. She also reduced the service call price from the $165.00 to $75.00 since he refused to even come to my house. I did even go ahead and pay even after he treated me with such blatant disrespect because I do have integrity and wanted to do the right thing.

I totally feel like "Kevin" owes me a serious apology for his out of control uncalled for and completely unprofessional behavior towards me. I just can't believe how horrible he was.

Oh, and by the way, I have since discovered Kevin is actually the owner of the company. Very professional!!!
