I've been having botox and fillers treatment on my face for years but my experience with Marco was the best! I had my botox and fillers done last month and i'm so happy that i look 10 years younger now after he did my face, while still having facial expression. Losing facial expression is usually common after the treatment, but with Marco, i didn't look like a manequin, and i'm so happy about it! Favorite spot in the city for beauty treatments! I have been attending Beauty bar for many years, and have tried several different services from Laser hair removal, accent, and the hydrafacial. I love how dynamic this place is! Beauty bar is always offering the latest and hottest beauty regimes, not to mention the incredible staff!!!

This review is for CoolSculpting. The freezing off your fat thing. Yes, you read that right.

I'm a firm believer in trying everything once when it comes to beauty, and this was no exception. Since Beauty Bar is one of the very few places that offers this treatment, and I'm a long-time customer, I decided to give it a go and treat my outer/inner thigh areas. For the longest time, I debated whether I should try CoolSculpting because it just sounded too good to be true. I work out consistently, 4-5 times a week and eat healthy, however, as everyone out there, I wanted to do something about what I perceived to be a "problem" area. Let's not pretend--we all have one.

After researching it (obsessively) for a few months, and seeing some real-life before and afters, I knew it was time. Since the procedure is FDA-approved without any real known side effects, I felt slightly more at ease. For those that don't know, CoolSculpting is a non-invasive treatment for losing stubborn fat areas/pockets. It's not a weight loss treatment but best suited for people that are already close to their desired weight. The fat cells are killed via controlled cooling, meaning killing them off with cold and crystallizing them. Once the fat cells are gone and killed off, they are gone for good. From my amateur understanding of fat cells, they grow and shrink every time you gain/lose weight, which is why it is imperative to continue your fitness regime even after the procedure is done.

But WHERE DOES IT ALL GO!? I was afraid that the fat cells would somehow migrate and creep up on different areas of my body, which did not happen. As they explain it, the fat cells are gradually removed from your body within the next 3-6 months by your immune system. I was told that I wasn't going to see results right away, and they would be more visible after one month. They advertise 20% reduction in the area, which is exactly what happened.

The actual procedure is not painful, but the treatment area will feel numb/cool. This is not for people that are impatient and that can't sit still. Beauty is patience. I felt the most pain when treating my inner thighs due to the suction device that treats that specific area. The treatment of the outer thighs was virtually pain free. Each leg is treated one at a time, so four hours total for outer thighs and two hours total for inner thighs. My patience was tried and tested but I made it through. After the procedure, the area felt slightly swollen, cold and tender. This can continue for up to two weeks after the procedure. I wouldn't recommend working out or doing anything too strenuous right after the procedure. The technician massages the area right after so that the fat cells can "break" and start to leave the body and this can be slightly painful/uncomfortable.

The BeautyBar team was friendly, nice and professional as usual. The CoolSculpting technician checked up on me continuously and there was even a "panic" button to press in case I needed anything. The Coolsculpting set-up was pretty great, with a big screen TV that allows you to watch Netflix during your procedure.

Results: YES, this procedure actually worked! I saw results as early as two weeks. It has only been one month and I have lost 1.5 inches on both my inner/outer thighs. I will post an update after 3 months and 6 months with my full results.

What got me hooked on Beauty Bar is their laser hair removal. It was super fast and painless AND my hair hasn't grown back! I've done laser removal prior to Beauty Bar, but my hair grew back after only 3 months. My best friend decided to get a package after hearing about my results and she loves it too! We are now regulars at this place. I visit Beauty Bar every week for my spray tans. Also their Hydrafacial is a MUST TRY!
