I bought a 2000 honda civic from JJ, and was told it did not need a warranty, as the kilometres were low and in the exact words of the salesman 'nothing goes wrong with those cars'
The car burns a litre of oil every 1000 kilometres, and has done since I bought it. I have put on 11000 k's and added over 10 litres of oil.
I monitored the problem for a while, as a mechanic advised me that sometimes this issue resolves itself over time after older cars with low k's,that had likely been sitting without driving,
began being driven normally.It did not change.
I approached the dealer about selling me warranty or alternatively if they would pay part of the cost of fixing the problem. They declined both, and basically said buyer beware, and denied any responsibility.
I ADVISE EVERYONE TO STEER FAR CLEAR OF THIS DEALER. THEY OBVIOUSLY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN SERVING THEIR CUSTOMERS AFTER THE SALE, AND HAVE NO ETHICS OR MORALS.

Just a further note to my last review was I enjoyed the new approach at JJ Motors. John was straightforward and open and made the deal easy. Test drove the Accord, loved it and bought it. Go make up your own mind , but im happy.

seriously they had to change there name to cc motors because of there shitty reviews. they probably sit down and write all of these high reviews them selves. my experience was that i wanted a car that night so i told them i did not want the inspection nor the warranty and i would pay right then and there but the still wanted the 100.00 then the owner wanted to see my cash like he was going to mug me.

Despite I've read all the reviews here, I went down to look at a car. Checked the car, the engine has some build up for a 2005 TSX. I asked if I could take it to a test drive, the salesman said he needs to take a deposit from me BEFORE test driving the car(????) because he doesn't want to put mileage on the car. He wants to take a deposit and put down subject to test drive. After going back and forth, he took my DL inside to photocopy. As I was waiting inside, a caucasian salesman (the boss?) talked to me and I thought he was misleading and arrogant so I became skeptical about this dealership. Then I told them I changed my mind I'm not going to test drive the car. The boss said what's wrong with you?

I said I'm not happy with the service.

He said this is not playland. We don't let you test drive the car blah blah blah

Wow just wow, how could they still be in business? I'm happy I left even though I liked the car. My money will not be used to feed these liars. I've bought several cars before and deposit subject to mechanical inspection is common. But deposit subject to TEST DRIVE???!!!

Went down to look at an advertised vehicle on the lot and was approached by one of the salesman..who appeared very sleezy right off the bat !....anyhow, this salesman (Jacob)obviously
doesn't know cars, he couldn't tell me anything about the vehicle and totally misrepresented the car ! Furthermore, the guy was dressed like a thug, in old jeans and a bomber jacket with a baseball hat,not very professional to say the least, he was very aggressive, and the guy barely spoke any english!.....No thanks !!

I bought a 1991 caravan from them. I paid only $995. the lowest price for this van available. This vehicle is the best deal I have ever got in my life. I drive to work every day no problem at all.. I dont understand why some people complain about their purchase. If you dont like the purchase, why dont you just return the car to them and get full refund. That is their policy. If you are rich, why dont you buy a new car. i guess you are all poor guy like me, can only aford a cheap used car. I love my van. Thank you jj motor cars!

Horrible experience! I found a car I liked & was told for a $100 deposit they take the car to the garage down the street for an inspection. When I said I would use my own mechanic he became instantly rude. He allowed me a 10min test drive but wouldn’t let me have 20min so I could go 2 miles to show my mechanic. My mechanic asked to talk to Chris (the owner) on the phone but Chris refused and told me to get a plate from the mechanic if I want to take it there. Then Chris told me if I want the car, to just buy it & then take it for inspection…if I’m not happy I’ll get my money back within 2 days. As if! Then I asked Chris if I could make an appointment to have them take it to my mechanic and he said no. He told me to go buy a permit if I wanted to take the car to have it inspected. I think there is a reason why they only want the garage they choose to inspect cars! Don’t go to this car lot and if you do…get your own inspection!!

Do not trust anything they say or anything you read,the manager of the Vancouver store is a complete moron no people skills at all. My advice is stay clear

I needed a car fast, I wanted a lil junker. Bought a 86 civic for 600. It still works :) Great service. Not one of those shady places like on kingsway. I'd go there again.
