Blue Star Motors, Vancouver Reviews (12)
Absolutely amazing company to deal with, from the time you enter the building! There was zero pressure to purchase a car, and the staff went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. The day we picked up the car, the staff said we have also added a complimentary warranty policy, full tank of gas, detailed and polished the vehicle (and the list goes on). Our family has purchased many vehicles over the years, both new and used. But would've never experienced the customer service and satisfaction as we did from Blue Star Motors! They deserve a 10 Star! When I googled the company and read the years in business, the professionalism speaks for itself. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a car.
Keep up the astounding work guys, the quality of cars and customer service can't be beat! See you guys on our next vehicle purchase.

I’ve bought and sold cars through Rob @ Bluestar and always got incredible service from both him and Robert ‘Dan’ Rae.
I would never consider dealing with any other dealership or sales person.
This is a first class operation and a place that always makes me feel like I’m the most important customer in the world.

The vehicle I come to see was inside a warehouse kind of setup surrounded by other cars, one of the employees said owner would be out in two minutes to talk to me... when he come out from a distance with out any kind of introduction, started saying how his price on this vehicle is firm and not negotiable, said I look like a person that would offer less than his price and he has no time for me he has other honest customer to deal with... unless I wanna commit to the price before test drive he has not time for me. I asked, do you expect me to walk in your showroom and hand over full price of a vehicle before test-drive? He started bragging about how he owns the building and the property... wanted me to look at paperwork and car fax...
never met someone that arrogant downright rude... happens to be my Favourite vehicle and if it was in good shape I would pay his price...

In January of 2017 I went to Blue Star Motors as I was interested in a car, I had not been able to get there the night before and as its a business open to the public did not feel the need to have to call. The first thing I got was alot of anger as Rob claimed he had expected me the night prior and had actually turned other people away from coming to see the car. Are you kidding me? He went on to literally toss papers about the car etc. and banged away on his calculator to tell me what it would cost me. He said if he did not sell me a car it would not break him, then he repeated that several times. I asked if I could test drive the car and he said no not at this time. I got up and walked out as he shouted after me that if he did not sell me a car he did not care. Wow, maybe he may have slipped off his meds. Not a nice person and certainly no one you want to do business with.
very arrogant and rude to customers... I asked questions and he's looking at my wife in the eye and answering my questions... lol ... how does he stay in business..
Thanks, Rob and staff for courteous and professional service. I was pleased to do business with Blue Star.
Great service....great staff - like a family, wonderful cars and honourable transactions. Recomend Blue Star highly! They'll receive future business from me.....garth

way with no surprises !
I bought a high end car a while back, and have spent over $5000 since then,so if your buying a car from Rob or any of his staff make sure you drive it first.
he doesn't let you test drive ... lol basically have to commit before..
I would like to thank Blue Star Motors and the staff for the non-pressurized professional sales approach they gave me while making my decision about purchasing the vehicle.
Rob, thank you to you and the staff for the excellent service.
Blue Star has a young man working there who greeted me the first time I came down town to view the vehicle, Rob and I agreed we would meet at 1:15pm, I arrived early and this young man made me feel very welcome and offered me a coffee, which I accepted ......... a very nice one I might add. He gave me the freedom to look at the vehicle at my leisure. When Rob arrived (just before our agreed time) he made me feel very welcome and exerted no pressure on me at all. I left the showroom feeling like a customer should!!
I came back a week or so later to test-drive the vehicle, when I arrived with my wife, again we were made to feel very welcome. Rob offered us coffee and this time he added some extra calories with wonderful Italian cannoli - these little things when I have freedom of choice are very important to me. I tend always to purchase product from boutiques, I like to stay away from the so called bulk stores, Blue Star does add a little touch of specialty - I again appreciate everything you and your staff have done.
I look forward to a long friendship with Blue Star Motors and the staff!
Thank you Rob!

Went in there and right from the start the owner (who was the only one there at the time) immediately gave us attitude as if he thought we were not serious buyers. Didn't even say hi or shake hands or anything. He looked bothered. Went in there to look at a specific car. We asked but he refused to even give us the keys to make sure all accessories worked. We asked to see the roof closed (convertible) and he snapped back saying "IT WORKS" and then just stood there! I responded with "i'm sure it does, i just want to see it". He then started telling us that he owns two blocks of land and has all these awards and certificates so we should trust him. He said that he carefully and thoroughly inspects each car before buying them so I should believe him. I asked him that since he is so careful and thorough when buying cars, why are we not allowed to be the same? He responded with..."because i own 2 blocks of land and have all these awards...etc etc." Yes, he said that again. He actually told us at least 5 times that he had two blocks of land and all these awards so we should simply trust him.
At this point we were obviously sceptical so we asked him if we could see the windows go up and down (common problem with this car is PW issues) and he rolled his eyes HARD, gave me a dirty look, and didn't even answer! Then he snapped at us accusing US of giving HIM attitude for asking!!! Replied with "i own 2 blocks of land and have all these awards, I wouldn't sell a car unless it was 100%...etc etc"...yes, again. Every time i asked him anything about the car (since we were not given the keys to see ourselves) he would simply reply with this answer and give more attitude each time. Kept trying to get us away from the car to look at the paperwork included (which he was willing to share), but in the end we never really got to look at the car. I didn't even get to sit in it. At the end everybody was mad at everybody and I left in shock.
Until now I've never been to a dealer where the seller actually expected me to trust him and not look at the car.
On a positive note, the salesman who I originally talked to on the phone to arrange the appointment seemed nice. Wish I dealt with him instead but he was not there at the time. He called me after this ordeal and offered to let me see the car but I politely declined.

I had same treatment...
I have dealt with ROB at BLUE STAR on several occasions and he ls honest when representing his vehicles. He stands behind his products and has demonstrated this on more than once. I deal with him exclusively now because he has been in business a long time and has integrity in an industry where it is often a scarce commodity.
Great cars... cool location
