Fast forward a year and my car has a bad oil leak. Call them to activate a claim, and they tell me to get it diagnosed and send them the work order, and I do. The service manager calls me and says that only the diagnosis is covered and not the repair. When they were selling me this package, they said it was for peace of mind and if ANYTHING went wrong with the engine, transmission, drive train went wrong I would be covered. I paid $2000 for this laughable warranty. The way they are dealing with a paying costumer and is deplorable. Very shady. I wish that I had never bought my car from them. If you are looking to buy a car don’t go to automaxx! You will be disappointed just like me.
If you do, don’t buy the after care package. It is a scam. They will be happy to give you their lawyers number, but not make good on their promise to take care of you vehicle.

I wasn't told, however, that it was a BC vehicle, not an Albertan vehicle, so when I went to get it registered, surprise surprise I had to pay for an out of province inspection. When I called to ask about this, it was 'included in my paperwork somewhere'. No, it wasn't. I kept all my paperwork together. Whatever though, I got it done.
The main problem I've had in dealing with Automaxx Calgary is that since the day the vehicle was delivered to me, I can't get anyone's attention for important things that I need from them at Automaxx. I lost my bill of sale and all the other paperwork that came with the vehicle to water damage in my home. I've spoken to someone named Brice, someone named Kyle, someone named Jason, and no one seems to have the decency to give me a return call or email. I've messaged Automaxx on Facebook, had someone call me about my issue, and then never heard from anyone there again. I've done this four times now since December of 2014. FOUR times. When I called the first time, the receptionist sent me to Jason's phone, where I got voicemail. Never heard back. Then I spoke to someone online who said they would get it done. Nope. The third time I spoke to Brice, this was last Wednesday. I never heard from him again. When I spoke with Kyle two days ago, I was told the paperwork was in a different building and he would get it to me the next day. That didn't happen. They promise you everything just to keep you hoping that they'll come through, and they never do.
Severely disappointing service and I would have thought that since this is my first vehicle buy, which I told Justin, that I would have been treated properly to keep me coming back. I will never buy another vehicle from them, and if I ever hear any of my friends or family thinking about a new vehicle, I will tell them to steer clear of Automaxx altogether.
Now I expect I'll probably recieve a phone call or an e-mail from someone about this review, asking how they can make it right. I want my paperwork for the vehicle I bought, but to be completely honest, I don't expect anything. I doubt I'll get it, and that's fine. Poor work ethic and disregard for customers that have already been locked into a contract is what I paid for, it's just a shame it cost me 35 grand.
