Took the my 2013 Elantra GT in since there was a strange sound coming from the strut on the passenger side on the front of the car. Dropped the car of before they opened and the appointment was booked for 7:30. They called me just before 9am saying that they just were about to look at my car and said it may not be ready until later in the afternoon. I had told them they had until 11:30 since this is my only mode of transportation. After I told them that I also said that if the problem is not warranty related I said to not do any work since I was not wanting to pay. They called me an hour later saying that the problem was supposedly rocks in the strut assembly and that I now had a bill for $142 after I told them I wasn't paying if it was not warranty. I do not believe it was rocks since they couldn't prove that there was rocks in the strut. It is very rude that they disregard my instructions. I have had more than 1 bad experience here and would never recommend coming here.

Service and Customer service are terrible. Extremely pushy with the upselling to the point where they get so busy they have to rush to fit all the upselling into their already fully scheduled day. They tried to push me into doing a whole bunch of "required service" including full rad flush and brake fluid flush! On 2009 vehicle with 33,000 kms on it!! When I declined they tried to make me sign a box stating "customer refused required service". When I questioned them on it and showed them the maintenance plan in the book, and confirmed with Hyundai Canada, they backed off. With regard to warranty, they fixed one straight forward issue under warranty with no problems. On a second issue that was clearly under warranty but intermittent problem, they made me feel like they were DOING ME A HUGE FAVOR rather than replacing a problematic item that is clearly under the stated warranty paid for with the vehicle. When they did the repair they did minor damage to the interior, then they denied it to Hyundai Canada and offered a cheap repair rather than replacing the part they damaged. I argued the point and then they refused to work on my vehicle ever again. I now have to go outside the city to another dealer for service, repair, and warranty. Hyundai Canada says it is all between me and the dealer and could not help. This dealer is not recommended if you expect a real warranty and good service.

First exp. with Saskatoon Hyundai service dept. was horrible. After you buy your vehicle, be prepared to be left out in the cold! I was worshiped until I had my first service appointment. Brought a few problems to their attention and when I picked the car up I was told that 4 out of 5 were "Nothing I can do for you". Called Hyundai Canada and was told the same. Even though they could remedy the problems, they wouldn't. I will be taking my car to be serviced out of town, from now on, as service manager was VERY unprofessional. Thinking of returning my new car and going elsewhere! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A HYUNDAI B/C OF SERVICE!!!
