I called to see a used car and they said it was still available, upon arriving it was sold, so they offered to find me the car of my choice. After choosing one car to have brought in, they told me to come in the next day to see if there were any others I would like; they were supposed to call me to confirm. The next day they called me and said that there was a better car for sale, so I went later and they told me it was sold and that there were no other vehicles available. So I went there for nothing. The car they were bringing in was supposed to be there two days later or at the latest the 3rd day after early morning and they said that I would be able to test it no problem even if it hadn't been tested. I ended up having to call them to find out because they didn't have the courtesy to call me. I had put a $300 dollar deposit on the car for them to bring it in, and this $300 was supposed to be reimbursable if I wasn't entirely satisfied with the car. On the 3rd day I went to see the car, it was supposed to be ready, but was not and they 'didn't have the keys' because it was still in inspection...how convenient. So I displaced myself AGAIN for nothing. I finally got to try the car on the 4th day and it went horribly, which I mentioned to the dealer. He said everything would be fixed and that he would call me. At this point he had already upped the price on the car by 500 dollars every time I spoke with him and had told me that he would call me to tell me the amount to have the certified cheque made for; at that point I hadn't even tried the car yet! I was fed up with all of this and told him I wasn't impressed, and I had told his boss this as well. To which I was told 'If you don't take the car, we'll have no problem selling it, it's impeccable!' One whole week later, when I was supposed to be able to drive away with the car after the first week, I get a phone call from the accountant asking me to confirm an appointment, I had never made one and had purchased a car elsewhere the weekend before. I told the accountant that I wasn't impressed and that the dealer should call me. He did the next day and started screaming at me that he had put a whole bunch of money into the car and that I can't just decide I don't want it and that his team was right and that I was wrong and that they are professional and yadda yadda...what about the guy who was supposed to be selling me the car? He was on holiday! And his boss was unable to confirm with him anything, so by default the seller was right???? I was furious. They won't give me back my deposit which is refundable by the consumer protection law because I am not satisfied with the vehicle. I gave up and hung up. I highly recommend that everyone stays as far away as possible from this dealership if they want a good car and to not be swindled out of their money.
