I can’t say enough about the excellent service that my son and daughter-in-law received. Fred Manuel was the driver. He was so helpful, polite, and professional. I don’t know the other persons name but they were amazing. The move was from Nova Scotia to Ontario. Mike Hanes from Truro Nova Scotia was just as professional. He gave a quote that didn’t change, kept in contact to ensure the safe arrival and any time I called to ask a question he was always polite. I would highly recommend this company.

I had a great experience with the two guys that came to move my treadmill! It was heavy but service was friendly and quick, and the office worked with me to get me within budget. Thanks again!

Three gentlemen arrived early in the morning on the rainiest of days to assist my family with a big move. They worked hard all day despite the weather, and had a smile on their faces. They started with a positive attitude and finished the same way. They loaded and unloaded everything we had, including a heavy treadmill and solid wood dresser. Although I don't plan on moving again anytime soon, I will remember these men and recommend the business to everyone I know.

We had a super good experience with Mark, Jacob and Lucas. They are nice, polite, they took the time to cover every fourniture with a blanket so they don't get damage and they took very good care of our stuff. I recommand them 100%.

This has been a better move than we could possibly have hoped for! Jerika came and gave us an estimate, she was amazing to work with….answering all of our questions. The three young men who came to move us, Joseph, Dominic and Haden were totally professional. Wrapping all of our furniture with care. Polite, efficient….not only with us, but each other. This will be a two part review as I interacted with the Pembroke and Oshawa branch.

Pembroke (Pack and Load): Firstly for the pack, the packing crew was incredibly unprofessional. Not only that in the process of these high school aged kids packing our contents they couldn’t be bothered to ask how a window in my house worked, and ended up breaking it. The company came in a confirmed it was broken, but I haven’t heard back from them. The kids also found it more important to try to track a black bear than work on packing my house. This resulted in the police being called. The loading crew, they did an alright job it was quick, but many items weren’t tagged and the Oshawa crew was confused if all items actually made it to my new house. Even we don’t know because not everything was itemized.

Oshawa (Unload and Unpack): The unload was fine enough, they asked us where each box was going and got the stuff into the house. The unpack, it was noted that the unpack was a partial, due to the amount of space in the house, and the fact that the unpack crew seemed to be working overtime on a tight schedule we let them go before the unpack was fully completed. This is a big mistake for anyone in the military. All of the company packing boxes and even some of their moving blankets were left in the house. We were told that they would come back for this stuff and they didn’t leaving us to have to deal with the large amount of boxes and packing material.

The issue with the partial unpack is that they reported to base traffic saying it was complete. Where we couldn’t effectively live in our house and resulted in us paying for additional nights at a hotel, not covered by the military. Basically what I’m saying is that if you are running out of space in the house and the company is trying to find ways to get off of the job site, don’t let them. If it takes 20 hours to unpack your house in one day, get them to unpack and move all of their packing material, because they won’t be back. Leaving you with no place to live and a mess that takes you days to sort out.

Thanks AMJ Campbell, it’s unfortunate that you have a contract with the military. Just another company that provides poor service for fully paid contracts.

We received high-quality service from the packing staff and moving crew during our recent move. The staff were friendly, professional, and hardworking, and extremely pleasant to deal with. We would recommend AMJ Campbell - Pembroke Movers services to anyone who is planning to move to or from Renfrew County. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at AMJ Campbell - Pembroke Movers.

We moved from Arnprior to Sudbury. We were quoted a price for a weight of 6800lbs and we actually came in at 1000 lbs less. nThe move was a disaster from start to finish. They were to arrive to load our furniture at around 8am, but they showed up at 2 in the afternoon. They underestimated the space in the truck and they had to shove out furniture in so tightly that a few pieces were damaged. By the time they loaded, weighed the truck and we got to leave Arnprior, it was 8pm. We arrived in Sudbury at midnight. We had a two day stay in a hotel before taking possession of our new home. On the eve of possession we got a call from Emilie Elrige (general manager) who told us our furniture would not arrive as promised the next day & that she would comp us the strange night in a hotel. We grudgingly agreed. The delivery of our furniture (1 day late) went off better.nSo, we have been in touch with AMJ Campbell on more than one occasion trying to settle up what they owe us. We are entitled to our hotel room as well as a rebate equal to a load of 1000 lbs less. We were told the cheque for the hotel was in the mail (3 weeks ago) and not a peep about our reimbursement.nThe move from hell! Never would we recommend AMJ Campbell out of Pembroke to anyone!
