Birch Accounting started in March 2006 after the birth of our first son in Surrey BC. Our premise was simple; fixed pricing provided up front so that you would know exactly what your outlay was for our service, whether it be bookkeeping or taxes you would not end up with a surprise bill at the end. Since that time nothing has changed (except maybe the size of our family!), we continue to provide the value of our experience and training and you our customers have reaped the benefits. We started using desktop applications and thankfully with the improved technology we are now able to provide all services in the cloud, saving everyone time and by association, money. Bookkeeping is optimized in real time with online applications. Tax return information can be uploaded (and downloaded) using our secure encrypted portal. Business training can be done with screen sharing and webinars.
This is what allowed us to make the decision for our family to move to the small city of Leduc in 2013 without cutting off our customers from BC. We had already had experience on a small scale with out of town/country customers that had moved away but wanted to keep using our services but now we were able to implement those processes on a large scale.
We still work with our customers in person; our home, your home, your office or the local coffee shop in Surrey, Leduc and many places in between.
