It's clear to me that some of these 5 star reviews are questionable and that this dealership is likely having acquaintances submit them. Instead, look at the negative reviews to see if there's a common theme. If there is one, you can trust that there's some truth to it.
1. Shady financial leadership/sales tactics
2. Poor service
3. Unprofessional staff

I didn’t experience the last 2 (I didn’t service my car, and my salesman was nice), but the shady financial leadership and tactics this dealership serves to its customers is reckless. After a horrible experience trying to buy a car, it's dealerships like this that confirm the stereotype of being crooked & shifty.

I found a car that I was interested in. I went to see it, negotiated a price for my trade-in and signed a deal. I said that I'm looking for a cash sale, no financing needed, and put a deposit down with a credit card. They would not take cash or certified check as payment because of past frauds so the only way to pay is by wire transfer. They sent me their bank account info for the transfer but it wasn't consistent with their bank branch. Then they sent new/different account info, yet my bank flagged again that it's not consistent with their bank branch. This is scary - if the wire transfer goes to the wrong account the money is gone and my bank can't retrieve it. Told this to my salesman and he agreed to accepting a certified check. I ordered the check and shortly after I got a text from my salesman saying that the owner of the dealership won't accept a certified check. By this point the check was already created. After wasting a lot of time, effort and money the deal was cancelled because of inaccurate banking info on their end and their unwillingness to accept a certified check which they previously agreed to. And as a side note, they hit me with hidden costs of $50 for fuel and a $99 finance fee on top of the sale price (even though I'm not financing with them), which goes against OMVIC regulations of “all-in pricing as advertised” - something they’ve been nailed on in recent years and were fined $10,000 in the past as per OMVIC.

A week later I got a call from my salesman saying that the owner will make an exception just for me and accept a certified check provided that I wait for it to clear before they release the car to me (which may take a few days). I agreed. I arranged for a certified check from my bank again and brought it to the dealership for them to deposit. They also asked me to remove a review that I posted the previous week, as the manager is concerned about negative reviews. I removed it in good faith, but I'm now back again, and here's why.

They deposited the check Tues and by Wed it cleared - the money was in their account (confirmed by them AND the bank). Then they tell me that I can’t pick up the car until Friday. Then it changed to the next Monday as they want the money to "sit" in their account for 5 days before releasing the car. This is ridiculous! They have my money in their account, and they won't release the car to me?

I played by their rules twice now, all of which fell through because of their incompetencies at the 11th hour to properly close a deal. Something is very wrong here. After reading the negative reviews about the antics they practice, I’ve lost all confidence in the dealerships ability to provide me with a sound vehicle transaction. This is confirmed by my experience being similar to others that have tried and/or bought from them before. The deal was cancelled again. They refunded me but of course subtracted wire transfer costs because they are unprofessional and don't know what real customer service is.

I've bought many cars and never had such issues with a dealership. Will never go back and will ensure anyone I know doesn't either. They clearly do not care about their customers and continue to practice shady financial tactics. Fast forward 3 days: bought a car at a different dealership - easy peasy and its in my driveway! Be very weary of CarHub North York. STAY AWAY!

Stay away from this Dealer!! Worst service I ever experienced. Its a long story but I purchased an Alfa Romeo for $60,000 plus taxes. A week later had a service issue. I had to bring it to another dealer which I cleared first with Izod my salesman who is NO HELP. I took it to my closest Alfa Romeo dealer. I got a $655 bill exactly a week later. Again I was told by my salesman Izod that it would be taken care of. That was August of 2019. It is now February 2020 and all I've received are empty promises and excuses. Completely unprofessional dealership with ZERO customer service and no care at all. I was told by my salesman Izod on probably 8 separate occasions that it is being taken care of and that a manager is going to call me. I've received zero calls. I was also given an email.
I emailed and received 1 response and now those emails are being ignored. Read the many similar bad reviews about their selling practice overall. Buying the vehicle originally was also very shady with their policy of not being able to buy it without going through finance. I had originally walked away and then they ended up calling me changing their policy on the spot allowing me to put more money down and alter the payment even though I still wanted to put more down. I wish I kept walking away. Don't be fooled by their lower pricing, they make money on finance deals! Just do yourself a favour and stay clear! I will be filing with OMVIC and the BBB as I'm out $655 for no reason. They are thieves.

I have to say thank you to North York Chrysler team specially Mr, Danial Chapari ,who helped me and my family honest and grateful to bought the best reasonable cars.Now after while we using are cars we all happy and satisfied and again I cant thank the people enough who helped me get into my lovely new 2016 Grand Cherokee Summit"! I will be a lifelong customer!

I purchased my new Wrangler at northyork Chrysler last week and had an amazing experience. They helped me choose the right vehicle that suits my requirement and helped me get a great deal on the vehicle. Craziest part was that they had the car ready with the options i added the next day! will def recommend them for a great experience when shopping for cars.

After looking at lots of rams for 4 months and going to few dealers, i found the best price and the easiest ppl to deal with here. I didn't believe it when Roham said they don't have any extra charges on top, but i guess faith in dealers restored! Got my new baby the next day which was surprising considering i added Rust proofing and bedliner. Thanks Roham for all your help, I'll def be sending ppl your way.

Hey all, was just reading a review on this company from 2007 and decides to share my experience. I've been going to these guys since 2011 and i can say that they were pretty average right until the beginning of 2013 when they changed the ownership and management. I can honestly say that they have become better and better with each visit. i used to only do my oil change and service there, but their good customer service let me into trying their sales and now i have a new grand Cherokee that i couldn't be happier about. I've been to many dealership and i can say that these guys are the most honest i have seen .

I took my 2003 Dodge SX 2.0 in for service to this location, the fist time was an oil change, ended up being 300$ for "routine maintance" I let it go, next i had a warning light, they said it's in the engin so they did "routine maintnace" for 700$ and the Freeking light still goes off, so i took my car to MCiver dodge in newmarket, my home dealer, they fixed the light and gave me an oil, filter change for $80

One of the benefits of not owning a car is definitely not having to deal with auto guys. Sounds like these guys were just the jerkiest of jerks.

even worse i've asked them to stop calling me to reminde me it's time for service, they dont, i yell they dont stop calling, i report them, they dont stop calling and now they started calling to let me know about "favored customer offers" drives me up the wall
