2014 New battery $100 Vehicle with 131,053KM 5yrs warranty Total $134.98
2016 Replaced battery $ with warranty 178 050 paid more Total $161.05
They checked and find out it was the battery, they still charged to check. I paid more than when I first got the battery. Big time rip-off I am never going back to Pickering Honda. New battery at Canadian tire will cost me less than $100 to less of warranty.

The thing I found most offensive, was the figure of $ 7,500 which they claimed was the damage on my previously leased Civic, which I was returning . I had taken meticulous care of this car for the three and half years that I had it in my possession, and other than a broken drivers side rear view mirror , there was practically no damage .
I can appreciate the fact that they were trying to make as much money as they could from me, but I do not appreciate being treated like a fool. Claiming that I had incurred $ 7,500 in damage to my previous vehicle , was not only ridiculous but an insult.
Another unpleasant experience was my interaction with the business manager. When signing the lease papers for the new CRV, I was told by him, that the payment for the Civic which I was returning would not be debited from my bank account and would be replaced by the payment of the new CRV. However, later on I discovered that both payments had been debited from my bank account. When I called the business manager, he claimed that it is not his job to stop the payment of the previously leased Civic, and that it was my responsibity to call Honda Finance and put a stop payment .
In closing, I am certain that I will not be returning to Pickering Honda and will not be recommending it to my friends and family.
ii) I have been charged for the license transfer, when I went to have the plate renewed it was noticed the color of the vehicle was Green, the actual the color is Gray. When I brought this to Mr. Buchanan's attention he told me to go to the ministry to have it corrected, I do not care if the fault lies with the ministry or with Pickering Honda. I do not care, I expect Pickering Honda to fix it.
iii) When I took possession of the vehicle the odometer was 133 kilometers, the least contract states 88 kilometers how is this possible?
I received a flyer via email Offer ID: 44. this states "get a brand new vehicle for the same or a lower payment than you are paying now" why have my payments gone up? A flyer offers a $500.00 allowance as a trade in allowance, was I not offered this allowance?
iv) This is the third Honda vehicle I purchased from Pickering Honda.
Feedback - Service Dept. should have provided this information with respect to quality of replacement windshield at the time of original equipment backorder identified and continued to be on backorder (current backorder date is January 2016). Invoice provided for work completed showed no breakdown with respect to material and labour. However cost of replacement windshield (non-Honda original equipment) was more expensive than the original price quoted including labour. At this point I'm just happy that the work is complete.
