Parkway Honda, North York Reviews (138)
BUYER BEWARE
I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid from this dealership and was picking up on Jan 21st, 2021. All seemed good and I was pleased with the sales agent Jezrell and the Admin staff etc. I picked up the car which at quick glance looked as it did when I first viewed it and began driving home. Within a very short period of time after leaving the dealership my daughter noticed their was a small crack in the windshield up near the black portion and almost impossible to see at some angles. I then did a quick check to see if the wiper blade of the driver's side passed over it as it would be a safety issue. It did. Here is how it played out:
1) Upon noticing this right away I contacted the dealership. The reception was very apologetic and tried to get me in contact with the service manager. They were not available and i was told they would call me back later. I have not heard from them verbally EVER!
2) I contacted the salesrep by both phone and text. He was apologetic as well. The next morning he informed me that the service manager was off/maybe working from home but would be in the next day and I would be a priority. I could email him though and see if I could get somewhere and so I emailed him the details. I had taken and included pictures as well.
3) This is where things took a crazy turn. Up to this point at no time did anyone insinuate or try to make it sound like I had done something wrong or that the windshield crack was somehow my doing. That changed when I received the most disgusting attempt at a customer resolve I have EVER seen from ANY company. To make his attempt at an answer even more ridiculous he included show room pictures from the car ad to try and show that the windshield was not cracked supposedly the day I picked it up. He in no way addresses that this car was not in the showroom for well over a week before I picked it up and that somehow these pictures are proof of anything. I guess if a car gets hit in their parking lot as long as they have pre-damage pictures I guess that dosen't matter?? He doesn't empathize in any way to even try and understand how this happened and solely smacks the blame on me who clearly did not have anything to do with it. No offer to meet in the middle or do ANYTHING.
I received the following email quote below from Jonathan Damianidis. Up to this point I have heard nothing more, nor did a "local Hyundai dealer" reach out or a lead be passed.
"Upon my discovery, our original appraisal showed no signed of windshield crack, both times the vehicle was inspected with service there was no reports of a windshield crack. The Sonata cleared the safety inspection with no signs of damage. On delivery day, the crack was not present as confirmed by our delivery team when preparing the vehicle for that day.
Attached are copies of the completed services and a copy of the bill of sale to confirm the vehicle.
My Service Manager and I are reaching out to the closest Hyundai dealer to have them assist you with the windshield damage. "
As I mentioned none of these details he provides prove anything as there are no relevant pictures. The salesrep informed me the car was safetied prior to me even looking at it and due to the location of the crack and how hard it was to see, especially in the sunlight, it is very easy to see how muiltiple people could have missed it that day or any day.
When I informed them that I was not ok with the answer and I wanted a call, I have received nothing. It is a week later to the day and no call, no response and no resolution. I even stated that if they were not going to assist then I wanted to refund the extra warranty within 24 hrs to pay for the damage that was caused to the car before I picked up. Again, no call or response.
Summary: I am a business owner with large connections over all of Ontario and Canada. I will be going out of my way to inform anyone who asks me for referrals to NOT purchase vehicles from a dealer whose management treats their clients with such disdain and mistrust. I also will not be returning to them for anything for myself or my company. I am leaving reviews everywhere I see reviews for Parkway Honda and have also contacted the BBB, which apparently they are not a part of but do have complaints outstanding. I ended up just having the crack filled by Standard Autoglass in London, Ontario for the time being and had Jonathan Damianidis called me as requested, I would have been fine if he had just even offered to pay the $80 for the fix I had temporarily had applied. Instead though, by his actions he has opted for my using every review site and ability to share this situation to others to advise them to stay away from this dealer.
I feel very sorry for the staff. It must be very hard to work in a place where customer service is mocked and customer interaction is avoided due to poor management and possible fear of a verbal interaction with an unhappy client.

I met Barzin, the parkway Honda sale rep, while I was shopping around to choose an economy vehicle. I had options like Corona, Elantra, Nissan Sentra etc, but once I walked in to the parkway Honda and was introduced to Barzin, as the sale rep, I had a luxury of the providing with the honest informations. He is so honest, very patient and charming, he provided me with the necessary information, not overwhelming me at the same time. he knows his job very well, and he is very good with people. I realized that every body loves him at his workplace. He was so good that not only I purchased my vehicle from him, but I advise my friends and my college to ask for him. even if you are not buying, he puts all his effort to makes you happy.
I had the pleasure of doing business with Michael Gordon who sold me a very well maintained 2008 civic Si. He answered all of my questions and was very understanding. I highly recommend him for any future customers visiting Parkway Honda!
Mr Mujib was friendly, helpful, informative and very kind. He helped us finalize a deal to our satisfaction. Highly recommend him for any future sales.
I recently Bought a Honda civic Lx 2017. Product specialist "Chris Mann" is awesome. He was very friendly and easy to approach. First he explained all feature and asked if I liked to go for test drive. He wasn't pushy like any other sale's man. He was very professional.
Just when I entered the dealership - unlike in many other dealerships I was immediately and very friendly welcomed by a manager Dolly Singh and directed for a product specialist.
Further we were dealing with Dan Kulaweera. We felt quite comfortable and informed about all the details further on and I should say this gentleman definitely has got some magic up his sleeve - everything went on just smooth and when there were some mistakes made on the docs, he immediately took care of it and things were corrected immediately, though I was expecting to spend like an hour or two re-adjusting things.
And finally to me the a good service is not defined by how they meet you before the sale - but how they meet you after the sale is done. And whenever I would have any questions or concerns Dan or Dolly would be just there to help or direct me to the right person.
Here are the things I recommend if you buy new CRV from Honda:
Do all the math on their website and be prepared to deal with numbers
Do get those original Honda's floor mats - they feel good qality and fit snugly in the car, though the cargo cover not so much.
As of May 2017 do not expect Google Auto to work flawlessly, it does work but somewhat unstable, but I am suspecting it's not Honda's fault.
About me: I am not a Honda long-term loyal fan, I have no affiliation with this brand, the CRV 2017 was only chosen by me due to it's characteristics and features.
Good luck!

I went to Parkway Honda to get a Used Honda certified Civic. I met sales coordinator Barzin who was really very helpful and explained me everything in detail. Later while walking through the showroom I liked the new 2017 Honda civic for which I inquired the price and also took a quotation for the same. I quoted my price which was accepted, hence I purchased a new car.
After couple of days I changed my mind about the color of the vehicle from grey to black and for doing the same I met Sales manager – Mike Siomos – One of the best manager I ever spoke to. He explained everything in detail to me and my wife and was very kind and helpful. Honda should have more managers like Mike – He is the best.
I would like to thank the Sales manager Mike Siomos, Sales consultant Barzin and Finance consultant – Dilip.
Highly recommended. Five stars*****. I would say even if anyone has to travel a lot to visit Parkway Honda its worth going there since they have excellent team. Totally satisfied. I am going to get my new car very soon. Looking forward.

I've purchased a Used Honda Civic and I dealt with Michael Gordon.
He is very accomodating and honest. That's kind of Sales person I would to deal with. Honesty and Accomodating whether I'm buying or not. Honda will definitely keep gaining more customer loyalty considering their product is already top of the line.

Charles Lee was a great help in purchasing a used vehicle at the Honda dealership here. He was very professional and helped my mother feel very comfortable and welcome there. His knowledge for the vehicle was top notch. I will recommend him to all our family and friends!

The session was quite informative and descriptive. I would highly recommended it to the person who is new to today's technology.

I have never attended a presentation where I was totally oblivious to the time! Jackie certainly knows what she is talking about and presented a most informative, practical and helpful session. She answered all my questions and more. In the midst of a large crowd she made one feel she was talking directly to you. This evening and my overall experience with the purchase of my CRV in December have been nothing but positive. Kudos to all at Parkway Honda and thank you
I attended the 'Get to Know Your Car' seminar tonight and found it to be very useful. It was well presented with lots of information and time to address individual questions.
Attending the Car Care Clinic with Parkway Honda on Feb 1, 2017 was an awesome experience. The session is very helpful in understanding the intricacies of the Honda CRV I bought from Parkway Honda recently. Jackie explained all the features and important service and maintenance tips. The session is very interactive and she answered all the questions very patiently and in a professional way. I learnt a lot of new information as part of this Car Clinic tonight. It really helped me in understanding the very important features of my new Honda CRV. Both the Card Care clinic session and the overall buying experience at Parkway Honda are the most important milestones in my driving life.
poor service
