Don't let this caption fool you ....this sales person is amazing. Tats and all she is a doll. She was so easy to work with in finding what fit our needs. We are happy with our choice and couldnt of done it without her. We will definitely be back to buy our next vehicle from her. Come give her a try ....you will be surprised.

I bought my Kia in December of 2015. I am amazed at the quality of this vehicle and equally amazed at the service I have received thus far. The service manager has always been nothing but professional, polite, accommodating and most importantly honest! I have no worries and anticipate a ongoing positive experience. I have recommended Kia of Upper James to many co workers, family and friends. When I am ready to purchase another vehicle I anticipate a Kia for sure. Barb Rogers

This is the first time purchasing a brand new car. Melissa (Sales Manager and Nicole (Financial Advisor) welcomed us and they were very helpful finding my dream car. They were very professional and resourceful Both ladies were very courtious and kind. They spend a lot of time helping me pick my beautiful 2016 kia reo. We are tigercat fans and now I have purchased my tiger cat car. They went over and above. Knowing I had to rent a car they put a rush on it. I truly appreciated it!
We are a family now!
I would recommend them to any one that would like to purchase a vehicle.

Had a dozen email exchanges on quote and details of purchase of a new car with Melissa. I was clear abut price and term and that I didn't want any games when I got there. I had been warned that they often change the price and terms when you get there or in financing and sadly that is what they pulled on me. I had given a deposit and then in financing they change terms from 60 to 84 months with the same payment! Matt the sales manager took care of me while I was there so he is clearly the mastermind behind this scam. They claimed it was a mistake in their emails but clearly this is their strategy. Unethical and a huge waste of time...Stay far away!

If you are undecided as to where to go for a new or used car, let me make it that much easier-DO NOT GO TO KIA OF HAMILTON ON UPPER JAMES ST-my husband, son & I went to look at a used Jeep there 2 weeks ago-we were looking at the car for about 15 minutes before anyone approached-we had already discovered that it was missing an oil filler cap, so we were unable to take it for a test drive, or even start it-we were invited into the showroom to speak with a sales person-after some negotiations about the price, we agreed to put in a conditional offer-after doing this, we were required to provide a cheque for $1000.00 that day to hold the car-for my $1000.00 deposit, I received NOTHING on paper about the conditional offer-the car also needed a rear windshield wiper, a new driver's seat belt & additional interior cleaning-this was on Wednesday afternoon-we were not provided with the VIN number to give our insurance company, although we were told by the sales manager that they needed a valid proof of insurance before we could even test drive the car-they had already photocopied my current vehicle insurance slip, & my driver's licence-in addition, we did not require financing, but were prepared to pay the total amount owing on delivery-we told the dealership that we had no vehicle, as our other Jeep was in for repairs, so the sooner they could have it ready, the better-we were told that they couldn't get an oil filter cap for two days, or "turn a vehicle around" in just a few days, & it would probably be Monday before we could test drive it-we later learned that the vehicle had been advertised for sale for 6 weeks, but apparently they didn't want to spend a nickel on it until they were sure someone was interested-also, the final sale was dependent on us liking the way the car sounded & drove - the sales manager promised to email me the VIN number on Friday at 430 PM, but this didn't arrive until Monday at 1035 AM, after I had already spoken to him & DEMANDED that he give me the number over the phone-my cheque had been cashed on Friday-I notified my insurance agent of the number, & asked her to fax a copy of our new slip to the dealership-she said she had never been asked to do this before, especially since there was no financing on the vehicle, but she agreed to do so-the sales person & I agreed to a time of 230 PM that afternoon for the test drive, & to take delivery of the vehicle, dependent on the results of the test drive-at about 245 PM, we got in the car & were told to take it out for as long as we wanted-the first thing we noticed was that the car was completely empty of gas, and all four tires had different pressure, none of which was right-we were reluctant to drive the car very far, so were not able to take it on the Linc to try it out at higher than city speeds-we decided to return instead of running out of gas-on our return, we asked whether or not more gas could be put in the car, & the tire pressures regulated, but were told by our sales person that everyone in the service department was too busy to do it then-she also said it didn't really matter, because we had to come back again the next day because the seat belt wasn't changed yet-as if that wasn't enough, she then announced that they would require a certified cheque or bank draft for the amount owing on the car, which I still didn't know, because I still had not received one word on paper to indicate what amount she was talking about-also, it would have helped if she had told me this on any of the five days over which this disaster was taking place, instead of surprising me with it on what was supposed to have been the day of the final transaction-on learning that everyone was too busy to put gas in a car which was about to be sold, & that I should have brought a certified cheque for an amount I was unaware of, I got up & left, as the whole experience had been a huge waste of my time-how they ever complete a transaction is beyond my understanding-I will continue to tell everyone I know about my "experience" at Kia-just FYI, we went directly to Johnston Motors at Stone Church & Upper James after leaving Kia-we got out of the car & were greeted within one minute by a helpful salesman, who was able to tell us the approximate price of many of the cars without even giving him $1000.00-we also learned that every single car was ready to be driven off the lot then & there-maybe your staff should take the same training as those people-shame on you, Kia of Hamilton !!!

Went in to have my car looked at because it is making a noise. The Service guy explained there is "no charge" because my car is under warranty. O.K. so I ask what if it's not a warranty issue. Well then the diagnostics are 105. and change. I said OK so there is a charge for you to look at my car. No there's No Charge !
You just said if it's not covered by warranty then I have to pay. He just kept repeating, there's NO CHARGE!!!
Then wanted me to sign a piece of paper saying I would pay 105.00 IF it's not covered under warranty!!!
So I told him he's using semantics and there is in fact a charge if it's Not covered under warranty!!
Well this went on and on... unbelievable!!! He would NOT say YES there is a charge!! Was he trying to frustrate me, piss me off, anger me???
Cause it worked!!! Never have I met someone so intent on angering a customer. I bought my car there.
But I won't be taking it there for regular service or parts!!!
FAIL!!!

Recently bought a 2013 Kia soul from kia of Hamilton and it was a great experience from dealing with Frank Caruso and Rob Bruno to dealing with dawn the finance lady it was a great experience everything went smoothly and they helped get me everything I asked for. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anybody looking for a pleasant sales experience.

Wonderful service. The salespeople went beyond to help with all the details (insurance, plates etc) to make it an easy transaction.

Accommodating and friendly. This is my fourth KIA car.

I was very happy with the entire process - from Mike who took me out for a test drive to Chris, Rob & Joe who worked on the finer details of my deal - I have done a lot of research before I committed to purchasing a new Optima - I am extremely pleased with the customer service I have received and am looking forward to an ongoing relationship with the dealership.

Very personable staff. Went out of their way to locate the car I wanted at a very fair price. Small amount of delay on the day of pick-up due to a clerical error, but overall my experience was very positive. I would purchase a vehicle from them again...not something I would say about previous some dealers I have dealt with.

I went into numerous dealerships on Upper James, I was treated the same at everyone, no one listened to what I wanted and or really needed. BUT, when I walked into Kia of Hamilton I was greeted with a smile by John, he helped me every step of the way, no pressure what so ever, I wasnt ready to buy at that moment, after I left I didn't have any negativity with John or Kia, I went back the same day and purchased the car from John, I would recommend John to any and everyone I know.

My husband and I recently purchased a 2012 Kia Sorento. Tanio Sblendorio was our salesperson and he did a fantastic job of listening to our needs and finding us a vehicle that we would love. We immediately felt at ease with him and didn't once feel pressured to buy. He was very knowledgeable throughout our test drive and by the end of our time with him, we felt like old friends. I strongly recommend seeking out Tanio if you ever come to Kia of Hamilton.
Unfortunately my husband and I had a very different experience with the young gentleman who processed the financing and our paperwork. It was a terrible combination of slimy car salesman, tired and cheesy jokes, and a lot of fine print that wasn't very well explained. My husband and I both left his office feeling dissatisfied and unsure of our purchase. It's a real shame, because we left Kia with a sour taste in our mouths.
