I brought my 2011 Escape into Ken Knapp for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. Upon finishing, the serviceman told me that my brakes read 3 - 4mm and needed replacing. I had also asked them to check a vibration/rattle coming from the muffler, probably needing a clamp, and I was told that I needed a new muffler system. My total bill would have been over $1100.00. I proceeded to bring my vehicle into my husband's mechanic for a second opinion. This mechanic has been in business for 50+ years and is very reputable. I expected to have my brakes replaced (from the information at Ken Knapp) for a more reasonable price, only to find out that I still have 50% left on all brakes. They also checked the muffler and replaced a clamp for a total bill of $79.00. I don't understand how this can happen. I would suggest that anyone taking their vehicle to their dealership for service, always get a second opinion.

i've been bringing my 2010 Ford Ranger for service since purchasing it brand new (at a different Ford dealership). I am always greeted like a family member, joke around, give me loaners during longer servicing times, etc...They are knowledgeable and accurate about my vehicle's needs and have never tried to slip in unnecessary services/charges. I continue to bring my vehicle there despite my warranty having expired a while ago.

I had a scheduled oil change and it still took nearly 3hours! This happens frequently to me! I had purchased the maintenance package as well. Why do you take so long?

I am normally not one to write reviews about our purchasing experiences. However, in the case of our recent car buying experience, I must say that our whole experience was very satisfying. The staff at Ken Knapp Ford were all we could have asked for in every respect! We would not hesitate to deal with them again or refer anyone to their dealership.

As always Bryan was very friendly and helpful and got the truck in quickly to start the front brakes. Unfortunately, the machine that was needed to "machine the rotors" was in use and it took an extra hour to get them done. Bryan gave me the keys to a new Focus and I went for a nice drive, got some apples and had a bite to eat (since it was supper time). A bit disappointing that it didn't get finished in the allotted timeframe, but everyone was very helpful/friendly with it. They either forgot to look at the issue with the heat knob on my dash or forgot to write what they found out about it ... and, again unfortunately, this is the 2nd time that I've asked about something in particular and not gotten any feedback on it. Maybe something that needs to be addressed in a team meeting sometime. Overall, a good experience and great working with Bryan!

In for scheduled routine maintenance. The staff is always friendly, and provides for a very welcoming atmosphere. The Service Department is outstanding...on time, knowledgeable and informative, adhering to a schedule, and addressing any concerns / issues. Never made to feel as if you are inconveniencing them!

I came in for service because of a leaking seal. The guy who helped me was amazing and extremely helpful. They even found that something was wrong with one if my tires! Very impressed with my visit.

Just in for a basic oil change and tire rotation. Quick service from a great Team of people. I always love they way they put my car through the car wash before I get it back. Only think I would like to see changed is in the customer lounge. It should be a cell phone free area. I don't need to hear someone else's long phone conversation.

Took my F150 in Sept 29 for a Low Tire Pressure in right front tire. Same tire had had 2 patches for 2 different nails back in 2015. This time one of the repairs was leaking; No nail this time. Due to the location of the patch/plug the tire had to be replaced "Under Warranty". Thank You Bryan for taking care of this problem, I will be scheduling next oil, lube & tire rotation in the next 30 days!!

I received excellent service for the replacement of the battery in my Grand Marquis on Tuesday. I was glad to see Chris Babkirk stop by for a chat about my Mustang and ask if I was getting looked after OK. I have had no problem with the alarm on the Mustang for the last three weeks, so I think I'll just sit on that problem and see what next summer brings. Thanks for your interest in my visit.

Even though we lived 5 minutes from a dealership, we chose to drive out to Essex for our car purchases/service. Mark, David, Roberto, Lisa, and Matthew have always been quick, thorough and courteous at the counter and the service staff in the garage is excellent. Over the last 16 years, we have not regretted the decision to drive to Essex!

I purchased an F150 from Ken Knapp 3 years ago and had a pleasant experience .Since then I have had all of my oil changes done here and the service was excellent every time , plus they also rotate the tires and perform a multi point inspection for a reasonable price .

Service was expedient and I couldn't ask for more. Service reps called to give me progress reports and arranged pickup service without asking for help. Ken Knapp personnel from sales to service are the best we would not go anywhere else.

Complete all my maintenance at Ken Knapp Ford on my Ford Edge. The staff is very friendly, informative and helpful. The hours are very accommodating. It is a great environment and would recmmend to others.

Oil change on 2016 Mustang,
We were greeted heartily by Mark when we arrived and he got right to work to get the oil changed on our Mustang. Everything went exceptionally well and we were very pleased with our experience.
We enjoyed coffee and conversation while we waited.

Booked an apt for oil change and tire rotation. They took in my vehicle, drove me to a local business and gave me a call as soon as it was ready. The driver picked me up, took me back to dealership and I was on my way not wasting any of my day sitting around. Dave Knott is always a pleasure to deal with.
