Sales team is awesome but then, you get to meet the back-end support and the service department. Customer support is abysmal as they don't exactly care about their customers. You can do as many online surveys as you want, nothing gets resolved. I've had to call Honda Canada to get issues fixed (I went to a different dealership, a place who actually care about their clients, they fixed all the pending issues in one visit, for free). Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership.

I bought in Richmond Hill because of the service, I get my car serviced in Maple because their service is top of the line. I have tried on four different occasions to get the car serviced in Barrie, they are slooooowwww, and overpriced compared to other honda dealerships. I have had two oilchanges there in their "Express" service bay. Both times took over 45 minutes and with tax the oil changes came to $55. No, not synthetic.

Barrie Honda has established itself as a trusted Honda dealership in the Simcoe County area. In 1977 It became an exclusive Honda dealership and has since, become a household name to the residents of Barrie and the surrounding area.

Between 1975-1977, Kerv Johnston, operated this dealership with a total of 9 employees and sold 100 new cars per year and 50-60 used cars. Barrie Honda now employs 85 people and sells 1,400 new cars per year and 600-700 used ones. Kerv Johnston retired in 1996 and was succeeded by his son Greg Johnston.

Because Barrie Honda's success can be attributed to the surrounding community, we support many local charities and give back to the community.
