I signed a contract with this company to replace my kitchen countertop and backsplash. I paid a deposit of $250 at the time of signing the contract. Skip Group (the owner) assured me that the countertop would be installed before the end of the following week. before leaving, I took pictures of the selected marble slab and under-counter sink that I chose.
This was the only pleasant interaction I had with them. The first promise was broken when they failed to send the templater to measure the kitchen. I had to make several calls to get the templater to come over to the house. When he finally arrived, he did not have any paperwork or information about the job. They simply sent him over as a gesture to shut me up.
Two weeks went by after the template was measure and I did not hear a thing from HPC. So I did some follow-up over the phone. Every telephone call ended with a rude promise to call me back. Of course no one ever called as promised.
Eventually, I gave up and requested a refund of my deposit. The prices may be low, but what good is that if you the customer service is abysmal.
