Cooksville Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM, Mississauga Reviews (1)
I can't even count in how many ways these guys screwed up.
We had the transmission and induction flushed. After this, an audible click was heard every time the needle hit 1700 RMP. Concerned, we returned to the dealership to have them check it out.
I don't remember the sequence of events, but we came back once and had the service advisor look at it free of charge: he told us it was normal and would dissapear in some time. Not satisfied with the explanations that were given by him (which were about 4 different explanations, none of which made sense) we went back a second time, at which point they charged us $50 for the mechanic to drive around a couple times only to tell us that we are crazy, and the car is not making any sounds it shouldn't.
The brakes. The rotors were not machined in order to match up with the crappy brake pads the dealership threw on before selling us the used car. This led to METRIC TONS of brake dust. All together it all led to noisy wheels. (Rubbing, squealing, creaking). We had them look at everything.
When they put the wheels back on, instead of hand tightening the lug nuts, they air gunned them on. This led to swelling, and now need replacing soon, or we will never be able to take the wheels off the car again.
The car is still exhibiting the audible click at 1700 RMP, after almost a year now. After complaining to the service manager about everything, he said they will replace our lug nuts for free. We have not gone to get them done yet.
We tried to speak to the mechanic directly, which is usually not a problem, but were denied. The explanation was "He's not good with talking to people."
I give it ONE star. Free lug nuts are a good move, but will not make up for all the terrible customer service and incompetent mechanics.
