I've bought a lot of cars and never experienced such a horrible, frustrating and unprofessional experience in buying a new car. After negotiating a fair price then spending 4 hours locating the car I wanted from another dealership. The rep still had to call me 3 times telling me that they still could not locate a car for me. Finally, he located and offered a car that had less features which you would think would cost less. I was promised over the phone that he would still apply the same discount we negotiated originally. However, when I went to complete the deal they had everything at list price on the contract without even my manufacture rebates and loyalty credit not to mention the negotiated discount. My payments stayed the same cause the finance rate went down cause of a promotion and that is why they thought I would not notice. They intentionally tried to pull a fast one and I can prove it because I kept all the original paperwork. After I realized it and they admitted the mistake and blamed it on clerical errors of their finance managers, the General Manager got involved and tried to convince me to drive off the lot with the new car and come back the next day to give him time to figure out what amount was owed back to me. Yeah right.....drive off the lot and screw me even more cause once you drive off the lot you are really screwed. Anyway, it took the GM and Rep 4 hours to figure out the errors and I waited all day to get the deal done. No word of a lie, I arrived at the dealership at 9:30am and drove off the lot at 7:30pm Finally, In the end they gave me a $1000 Gas card but I still got ripped off even more than a grand. I was just so tired and pissed that I decided to cut my losses to a lesson learned. I really would strongly discourage anyone from buying a car from Courtesy Chev dealership. Go to another dealership. Like I said, I've bought a few cars and never experienced such incompetence from sales rep to financial manager to GM.
