A1 Locksmith Service

My key broke off (in half) in my ignition, but it was still drivable. I stopped by their office, and they were able to get the key out within a minute. Not only that, but they were able to create a new key using the broken key (with a few minor adjustments going back and forth to the truck). I was in and out in 30 minutes! Very reasonably priced as well versus getting a new key from the dealership. Excellent and friendly service. Thank you very much for your help!

I was so fortunate to have called A1 when I locked my keys in my car while we were in Grand Rapids. Pat and Mark were so helpful. Mark was so calm and worked so hard to help me. I would highly recommend them if you ever get locked out of your car!

Great experience at A1 Locksmith today. We bought a used Scion xB that only came with one key. Called them to set up an appointment and they made use two more "keyless" keys in under 30 minutes. I was impressed that they made a test door-only key first to verify their cut before cutting the other two keys. They then tested those keys before doing any of the programming. Both new keys worked as well as the original for about $150 less than the dealer was going to charge for two new keys of the same type. I will use them again if the need arises. We plan on telling our mechanic in Big Rapids about them since they recommended we go to the dealer.

I needed my ignition cylinder fixed for my car and brought it in and they were very nice, affordable and fast.

These guys are magnificent!! First, they came out on a Saturday night at 9:30 and what was to be a short, quick fix turned out to be quite a long ordeal but they stayed, fixed everything and were extremely pleasant. But it gets better... he ended up having to take off the exterior door handle and file down the key all while their radiator in their car blew. I will most certainly use them in the future for lockout service again!! I'm also going to use them to get my locks replaced in the near future. Quick transaction as well. Desmond was great. He came out immediately to our house and installed 4 locks on our two entry doors. He was very friendly and the cost was affordable. We'd use A1 Locksmith again.
