Went to Silverhill to test drive a demo MDX. My possible trade in was left running and unattended during the test drive by the appraiser. When I asked to see a car proof on the vehicle I was told the car hadn't left the lot so it was fine ( car had 15000km) as a dealer demo and the document was not provided. Even though I was very interested felt that the salesman was not interested in selling it. Bought a similar model elsewhere and will not be back to service my new Acura at Southhill.

My experience is has been good for more than 24 years. The service personnel were excellent, but the service manager does not have the best interests of his customers in mind. Be very aware that you must question him as he will not even listen to his own employees when they suggest work that needs or does not need to be done and my experience was unbelievably bad. I have purchased 8 Acura vehicles since 1992 and serviced them at Silverhill for 24 years but will never bring another car to this dealership as long as the current service manager is working there. Mr. Grozell treated me in a very unprofessional manner in front of his employees and other customers and this was documented by myself with Acura Canada. I can not recommend this dealership to anyone as long as this service manager is still working there. It's very unfortunate as the other service employees were excellent.

This place gives Car Dealers a bad name....I've owned many vehicles in my life and dealt with many people and car companies and this is the worst ever experience i have ever had trying to buy a car.......money is all the want and after they get it good luck in ever trying to get any kind of service or help with anything.Save a headache pass on this company

Have purchased five vehicles from Silverhill Acura over the past several years both new and used. Have found their sales staff to be very knowledgeable about their product. Was also delighted when purchasing a used car that they had all paperwork on file including service history, carproof reports and all the work that they had performed prior to me picking up my cars. Although one of the used cars I bought had a small glitch in it, they stepped up and fixed it at no charge for me even though it was not under warranty. I have reccomended Silverhill Acura to several friends who have purchased vehicles from them and all are extremely happy with their purchases and the way they were treated. As far as the service deaprtment goes, I have found them as well to be a great group to deal with and my vehicles are always ready when promised. Kudos to Silverhill! Robert L.

We have been loyal customers of Silverhill Acura for 8+ years. We bought a car from them. We have given them all of our service work for both of our cars. Oil changes...tires...shocks...valves...etc They are more expensive than other mechanics but they know our vehicles and we felt that if we were loyal to them, they would be honest and fair with us. This is ONLY true if things are going well. In the past they would tell us what had to be done, they would tell us a price, we would pay it...everyone was happy. We never questioned anything. Never got a second quote. We simply gave them our blind trust. The first time something went wrong they treated us like we were criminals trying to get away with something. We recently had our valves done on our 2003 MDX. I have parked it in our garage for four years and underneath it has always been perfectly clean cement. The night my husband brought it home from the service department it started to drip a greenish fluid. Yikes?? My husband took it in the next day and they washed under the truck and told us that they couldn't find a leak and that it must have been condensation. I put a plastic tray under it to collect the goop and my husband took it back to them. They then discovered that a rear seal was gone on it. The mechanic said that it was just a coincidence and not their fault. Hmmm....no problem before and they wanted us to believe that it happened on the way home from the service department. They were going to charge us for a $40 part and 13 hours of labour at $130/hr!!! My husband was furious and called the service manager. He waited 3 days without a returned call! When he finally talked to my husband his exact words were... "You're on your own." Wow. We have been excellent customers for over eight years and that's how they treated us the first time something went wrong!!??!! We took it to the Honda dealer in Okotoks and they confirmed that the seal was leaking. Funny thing...they charged us $90/hr for service and threw in a free wheel alignment. That's how you earn a customer. It is obvious that Silverhill Acura doesn't value their customers and will NEVER get another dime of our business. If you're considering trusting them...think again. Honda mechanics are equally trained (Acura is a Honda vehicle), they charge a much more reasonable hourly rate and they understand the meaning of "service".
