I'm not even sure where to begin with this.....
My son and I were both patients of this dentist first time being in 2014, I decided for myself that after my first visit, it was my last. The waiting time there is obnoxious. Not exactly what the point in making an appointment is, if your going to have patients waiting in the waiting area for an additional 2 or 3 hours. That was the first red flag.
Second, my son had an appointment the same day, he was seen for a general exam and cleaning. He had two deep cavities that I was aware of before taking him to the dentist. one on each side of his mouth in the exact same place on each side. I was told by the ONLY ASIAN doctor that she had to remove two teeth on one side because the cavity we between two teeth and it was too deep. So she pulled them. As for the opposite side, she just filled it.
His next visit I requested a different doctor from the same location, and she advised me that the doctor probably could have done a simple root canal and avoided extracting two molar teeth from a 6 year old child. This actually was very alarming to me, the fact a doctor from the same location is telling me that there were possibly other options.
A year or so past by and the filling had fell out of that space. He complained only once about pain so I didn't really jump to make moves too fast. However today 7/27/2016 i decided to bring him to get it taken care of.
I called the office to make an appointment for a general cleaning and exam AS WELL AS take care of the other cavity and to get the spacer sized, for the two teeth they never gave a spacer for previously.
I walk into the office at 11:40 for a 12pm appointment. At the desk I asked how long will it be before my son was seen because the waiting room was filled up wit no available seats. I was advised that it is 4 doctors in the office so it wont be long. I restated my question and said I'm asking because we would be waiting OUTSIDE in the 93 degree hot sun, i was told there are two patients ahead of me. I literally waited for 30 minutes before walking back in and finding seats to wait.
This is where it became an issue. We sat and waited until it was 12:40pm before my son was even called to get his xray taken. They did that and sent us back to the waiting room. Continued waiting until 1:10 before we were called into the room finally, where I was advised all they were doing was a cleaning because that's all my appointment was made for. I advised them that my reason for calling was because of the cavity and I was told he needed a cleaning done as well so I said okay we can just get it all done with same visit.
Long story short, all they did was a cleaning. While that was being done I asked the doctor if she could look at my sons xrays from the first visit so she could see if she believed that the two teeth needed to be extracted. She looked in the computer and was not able to even find his xrays! How professional, you lost a file of my sons xrays.
So not only did I make an appointment for one thing but it was never done, but i sat and waited in the HEAT for so long and then continued waiting inside for my son to get a cleaning and not what we came for.
Overall the service sucks, five thumbs down. They overbook appointments and they clearly are not very organized. Horrible communication within the business.
Your best bet is to just AVOID THIS PLACE BY ANY AND ALL MEANS!
