I called ahead for a quote on an a/c recharge. told it would be 15 a pound and an hour labor. made an appt. i show up and same advisor tells me i am at the wrong dealer. finds me, i ask again how much for a/c service, he tells me 30 a pound and an hour labor. i ask if they put dye in the system and how much to re inspect it in a few weeks. he says no need, recharge and off i go.... i said fine just do the recharge. i tell him NOT TO WASH THE CAR!!! i have watched as canyon creek toyota washes customers cars with an old brush and industrial soap that strips all protective coatings of cars.

i wait, he comes out says all done. i pay then noticed that he charged me 1/2 diagnosis. i tell him i just wanted a recharge and won\t pay for that. he sighs and glares and walks into the managers office. a while later he omes out and offers me a credit. i say no, he sighs and glares and walks into the managers office, i wait a while he comes out and offers a refund....wow

i get to my car, WASHED, all wax stripped off with a fresh layer of exposed paint. this dealer does not listen to customers. i went to henninger toyota and explained to them what happened, they tell me a standard a/c service includes dye, and a free re inspection. i made an appt with them.

Unreliable finance department- I had life free oil change offered when I got financing- on first visit it turned out it hadn't been applied to my account. Next I also had it agreed upon sale that I would have a missing piece inside my vehicle (nothing major) ordered and provided. Finally- and here is the true sting- I was advised to take out an extended warranty, I accepted based on the fact it was refunded guaranteed after three years of no use- called this month to get the refund- they hadn't ticked the box on the computer to apply the guaranteed refund, so no $2100 refund!! Joke! Would not advise using there services.

I had two bad experiences at this dealership and I would never go back.
First, being really rude, Lawrence working in the service department was extremely rude and had to talk to the manager to resolve the issue. I called a week in advanced to book an appointment for a Technical Service Bulletin and the lady I talked to, mentioned that the they would cover the cost of the check and contact Toyota to see if Toyota Canada would cover the cost, since it is well known issue and a lot cars were having the same issue. When I showed up for my appointment, the service desk started off by being rude, calling me a lair about covering the code check and he said they would never contact Toyota on behalf of a customer. The customer rep. could simply ask her colleague about the phone conversation, but instead she decided to call me a lair. The manager resolve the issue, but overall, being called a lair and having a rude customer service is not fair.

Second time, the car was supposed to be ready by 12 pm ( just a simple oil change) and the car was ready at 6 pm and I had to wait there for 3.5 hours as there were saying 30 more minute and the car would be ready and the 30 minutes added to 3.5 hours.

Do not come to this dealer for any type of service. They do no good job at all. and try to pass problems to other so they not warranty. I Bought ProPack for my truck in 2008 that cover under code, seats protection, and paint protection. Long story short. I didn't buy vehicle from them, bought from other dealer, my truck was 10 months old. so I asked Canyon Creak it ok for apply the ProPack. after the inspected the truck they said ok they can do it and the warranty for the propack same as the new vehicle and I asked them to sign it on the invoice. in 2010 I founded out their is a rust spot in the real tailgate and I showed to them, They did apply some kind of solutions and they called is done. and so time goes by until 2012 I see more rust same spot and it now bigger. so I told them to fix it. They did something and took picture to send to auto body and manufacture for warranty. I thought they done the repair so couple years later I complain same issue again. at this time they took my vehicle for 3 days to find out who is going responsible for this fix. They came back and told me that the warranty is over. there Pro Pack only warranty for 5 years. I also checked with other Toyota dealer they said it warranties for the live of the vehicle. Again. DON'T GOING TO CANYON CREEK TOYOTA IN CALGARY for any type of service or product that they do. because once they have your money they can say what ever!!! or if you do business with them, then be very clear document on the service invoice and have manager sign for that. I'll be report them to Better Business Bureau and show them all of my document invoice from canyon creek Toyota.

If you decide to actually buy a vehicle from them, which you will definitely regret, do not waste your money on warranty (or any other in-house services) as it/they literally useless. You will easily wait 1hour (with prior appointment) for anyone to acknowledge that you are there waiting for their service as well as have to pay extra for their services although you have a warranty on a brand new vehicle, that shouldnt need to be in service. Take your business somewhere else where it is valued because it definitely isnt at Canyon Creek.

Unprofessional used car salesman named Mark Lanctot, tried to talk me out of the vehicle, didn't know any details, indicated I should not contact him after 5pm with questions as he would be wasted, different prices in different places (check auto trader to kijiji as i saved 1500$$ this way) indicated vehicle came with extended warranty that ended up being non-existent, check the VIN with original manufacturer as mine turned out to have an outstanding recall, advertised extra set of tires that he claimed did not exist, took 3 weeks to finalize purchase...

Overall would not recommend this Toyota dealership.. Go to Charlesglen, they take care of clients.

After moving to Alberta I had to get an out of province inspection done on my truck. I took it to Canyon Creek Toyota for the required check up after making an appointment for 10 am and was told it would take an hour to do. After waiting tell after 4 pm to get my truck back from them 5 hours later I went home and noticed damage to my rim which was caused by a impact driver they used to remove my tires to check the breaks, I called them to ask about it. I was told that the mechanics working are good and would never do such a thing and if I wanted to pay I could have it fixed. Ill never deal with this dealer ever again and I will make sure to tell as many people as I can about how much they could care less about damage they do to your car. They will be nice to you to buy a car from them then watch out when it comes time for a service!

From the straghtforward, honest Product Advisor Dave to the Finance Manager Cheryl, we have nothing but praise for this dealership. There are no high pressure sales. A person is treated with dignity and respect as a fellow human being and one does not have to be put through the ringer like at other dealerships to negotiate a fair price. We even forgot to add our Club Toyota points when we bought the car, and we called a week later and they cut us a cheque. No hassle. No haggle. Honesty and respect. What a breath of fresh air. Thank you Canyon Creek Toyota.
