After the completion of Advanced Medi-Spa Therapist training, I took additional certificate courses at IBI. Cecilia, one of the instructor's taught me Dermaplaning. She was articulate, patient and detailed, she was thorough when she demonstrated on her model that I had no hesitation, and felt confident to work on my model.

Similarly, I took Micro Needling with Wafa. She was just as detailed and thorough. Her demonstration on her model was equally educational with all details covered.

I highly recommend IBI Mississauga and their instructors.

To be an ‘A’ class esthetician, it was very important to pick an institution that demonstrates a clear understanding of education principles, while staying current with the latest trends and innovations.

I met with Yamile K in Registration, her knowledge and enthusiasm convinced me that IBI in Mississauga was the school I was looking for. Initially I started out with a skin care certificate program, however after joining the school and meeting enthusiastic instructors and learning more about programs offered, I decided to complete the advanced medi-spa therapist diploma and a couple of other certificate programs.

My experience was nothing less than fantastic! I was very fortunate to have worked with amazing instructors like Shiraz Elamin and Paula Castro. They demonstrated patience, guidance and clear understanding of the subjects. Their passion and enthusiasm were clear in their teaching, and the advice and tips they imparted only comes with years of experience. I feel very fortunate!

Paula Carneiro's online classes for skin care were very well organized, informative and without any technical problems. Both Paula and Wafa were also instrumental in the completion of my diploma.

Overall, great experience! Will certainly return to further my education in the future.

Skincare and Laser theory were done online. Both very good classes of information. Paula (teaches ONLINE classes) Was VERY helpful with information. She handled the students very well online. She explains things very well. Whafa (sorry if i misspelled it) GREAT teacher! Very polite. I had her for skincare, you'll be happy with her. Another lady Paula who teacher laser (IN class) Omg, the sweetest lady ever! Any questions, she will answer all of them! You can stay longer with her as well after class. She's a great help, you get comfortable with her very quickly. I love her. Mary, she teaches lash lift and tint. It was just me and another girl and our models. Very nice girl, good teacher. Helps you with any questions you ask.

Within the first week they're asking for an online review for Mississauga location because they're not getting as many as the other locations. Haven't even completed the certificate Laser program and they're asking for a positive review. They ask students to clean the tables in the classroom and the floors for a grade and that you have to do it. A student in the class had back problems. Are they trying to save on janitorial costs? I understand cleaning the rooms with the equipment you use but the classroom cleaning should NOT be done by students. Cleaning desk, chairs, and floor. They had too many students. Not enough hands on experience with the laser. Half the class was told to be quiet and listen. We got to touch the laser and work with it for a total of 1 min of that. A class should never have 12 students and one instructor and one machine. Half the time you cannot see over anyone, the laser protective goggles some were cracked right on the lens and broken sides, the lens come out which a person should not wear to protect their eyes when you work with a laser. There are error in the book slides they provide (spelling) which we pay money for. You can learn everything that was taught on youtube.

Super great school! They gave us plenty of class time for theory and practical. understanding and helpful staff as well!

I completed my Makeup Pro Diploma in January of 2020 with Julie. Julie is highly knowledgable and very passionate about beauty. It made wanting to learn from her an experience I will never forget. I learned many cool tips and tricks that I continue to use on myself and my clients. Julie is supportive, selfless and always there to lend a hand or answer any questions - even after you've graduated. I am grateful to have been under her watchful eye because it has landed me in great opportunities and experiences in the world of beauty.


- The school itself, on the other hand, is very unorganized. The management staff could care less about you unless you're spending money on their services and products. I say this with experience and I hope they'll do a better job of training and/or choosing their employees in the future because it takes away from an otherwise positive experience.

This institute is dynamic and full of energy. Instrctors, management, admin staff, reception staff and everyone there are professionals and very kind:) I really recommend studying there or at least try out the excellent services they provide, book an appointment right away and enjoy :)

Amazing school. The staff are so knowledgeable, they are spectacular! They want the best for you and push for that, you can tell they truly love what they do, I feel as if I'm part of a family

I attended the International Beauty Institute to have some unwanted hair removed from my back. It bothered me for years. The staff were so amazing, accomodating, professional and friendly. After approximately 13 visits I was done and that hair was gone. It was easy and made easier by the staff and management of the International Beauty Institute. Anyone who is thinking of going but not sure you will receive the service you want....stop waiting and go. You will be very satisfied. They do so many other cosmetic things that will fit everyone's life style male or female.

I have been a regular and happy customer of the beauty Institute for several years now. The treatments are much less expensive than other Medi spas, some prestigious, yet are comparable or even exceed them in terms of care. The facility is modern, clean with an intimate and very personalized feel. True professionals they always put the client first ensuring satisfaction, even accommodating and changing appointments at the last. Everyone on staff are genuinely lovely people who take pride in the services they offer.

I can finally say that I graduated and I am a Licensed Makeup Artist! I attended International beauty college and graduated recently! My skills from when I first began the course up until now have improved dramatically. Classes were very hands on which allowed me to improve myself each day. Lessons were detailed not only when teaching practical but also the theory part of the course was very helpful. I would recommend this school and any and every aspiring makeup artist looking to improve themselves.

I just finished the makeup diploma program and i loved it. My instructor was amazing and really helpful. The classes are small which i really liked. The staff was great. I would really recommend this program and school.

I recently completed the makeup artist certificate program here. From the time I walk in to the time I walked out I learned so many techniques that I thought I knew but didn't. This experience was delightful and everyone was friendly. My instructor, Melissa, helped all of the students as a whole then individually, she really worked with us to explain and perfect our techniques. I was so happy with the end results of what I had learned and picked up from this school! I would highly recommend this school for any beauty interests.

I took the makeup course and really learned a lot. We learned so much and had time to practice on different partners every class. Glad I took the class.

I love the International Beauty Institute! Everybody is really friendly and knowledgeable!
There are a lot of classes and services available, and they are really great about working around my schedule! There are daytime, evening, and some weekend classes available, depending on what you are interesting in taking.

I would recommend the International Beauty Institute. I recently took the make up certificate and I wouldn’t have done anything differently; I had a good experience and met a lot of great people. The program is really good. I feel that the knowledge and hands on practice I received was great!

After almost finishing my makeup certificate course today, I can saY that I am Completely happy and produced attending International Beauty Institute!!! Thanks so much to all the staff!

Before I started my makeup certificate program I was very nervous about starting a freelance makeup career. But now I feel confident with what I am doing, they are very thorough with the theory and the practical both. Lots of hands on experience and product knowledge increased my confidence. I had one of the best instructor, she was very knowledgeable and fun. I had an amazing experience with this college.

I took the makeup certificate program here and found it quite helpful. The instructors have great personalities and are very talented. The school is very clean, and the classroom atmosphere is fun and positive! I will definitely be continuing some advanced makeup programs here.

However, I advise you making an appointment with administration for taking a tour before you commit to taking a course here. The school is smaller than expected, but nevertheless the experience was incredible and beneficial.
