This place is AMAZING! I went in because a friend had told me about the special they were running. I bought the 3 classes for $20 and got the free gloves. Then I went in Sunday morning and met with one of the instructors so she could make sure I didn't have any injuries or something that she should be aware of. She taught me how to wrap my wrists and gave me the grand tour. The layout is pretty basic. The main area is right past the front desk and that made me skeptical because I wouldn't want anyone watching me while I'm sweating and struggling. But we were so busy and focused that I didn't think about that once during the workout. After we all got our spots on the mat, we instantly started the hard part. The 1st 15-20 minutes is really intense! I started sweating and didn't stop until a few hours after the class had ended. The workouts were basic, but fast and non-stop. We ran around the mat a bit to up the heart rate, but it felt good running on the mat in my barefeet. The boxing moves were also basic and really fun! It felt so good to punch out all of that stress from the long week!
All in all, I highly recommend this place for a fun, intense workout! I fully expect to start seeing results very soon! I am so sore today that I had to hook my bra before putting it on! There was no way I could have reached behind me this morning. Also, I hate going down stairs today! But, surprisingly enough, NO JOINT PAIN! All of the pain is the good, used my muscles, kind of pain.
