I drove by 99th street when my car tried to tell me again it is a time to do an oil change. I noticed their sign and decided to stop by. First thing I noticed is how I was in and out without the usual wait in line which I quite frankly hate.
Secondly, they were probably most polite and friendly bunch I met and I even had a chance to briefly exchange few words with actual owners which is rare today and unheard of at large chain stores where half of the time they don't even remember your name.
I noticed that their prices were a tad higher than other guys but than it was explained to me that they do not add many fees other guys add such as oil disposal fees and shop fees so their prices are on par with the rest. In fact, if you visit their web site www.emslube.com and download the coupon it is not that bad at all. I did not know about the site, they explained to me that they only have done it recently and offered me to keep me updated on deals and specials if I become VIP.
I am arrogant when it comes to cars, I know it has four wheels and four doors but what else goes under the hood, I have no idea. It is nice to find a place where if you admit this, no one is going to take advantage of you but instead they will take extra time and effort to explain and recommend in the language I actually understand.
