OK, We've had our car for about five months now and though we bought it used with a lot of miles. But we've never had any trouble with it at all. All of a sudden out of the blue it would just die when driving it down the street. Worst part about it, is it would stop at around 50 mph So it wasn't like I could just pull over. It was always on the express way or Lake Shore Drive. I took it to an auto shop on the north side which shall remain nameless. They took my car for three days and charged me almost $1,000.00 for all of these readjustments that they supposedly made. One week later, It died again. Someone we met refered us to West Loop Auto and told us they had a good experience there. We went there expecting to shell out another $1,000 and lose our car for another half a week. They found the issue (apparently a minor one) in about an hour and fixed it for under $150. My experience with them was brief and I didn't learn all that much about them, but I could tell they were honest and not way over priced
