Shoddy Workmanship and Horrible...

I'm giving this company 1 star, as it isn't possible to give them a zero rating. We hired Mike's Flooring in April 2013 to install laminate flooring throughout our 1,200 square foot townhouse. While choosing a product, getting a quote and setting up an install date all went smoothly, things went completely downhill after that. The installer that came to our home was abrasive and rude. He was more concerned with getting the job done quickly than making sure it was done correctly. He quickly installed the base shoe throughout our house and it is cracked, chipped, and in places it comes more than 2 inches away from the baseboard. The carpet that was installed on our stairs looks like a bad DIY project, with lots of fraying and loose staples.

We have been trying to resolve these deficiencies with the company for approximately 7 months. We have left numerous messages for Mike and sent emails asking to have the issues fixed. 7 months out and there has been zero legitimate response from the company.

Once your invoice is paid, if you have issues with their product or installation, good luck getting in touch with them to fix it.
