Ilovekickboxing is amazing! I went in on a friend's recommendation and have been hooked since the first class.
The first class consists of an instructor introducing the different types of punches
and kicks. I really appreciate that they take the time to show, teach and correct
so you understand what you're doing and decrease your chance of injury. The first fifteen minutes of class is the warm-up, then rounds of different combos and finally partner work. I appreciate the partner work because it gets us moving and working with others. This helps foster friendships and makes the atmosphere much more fun.
I was impressed from the beginning because the facilities are clean, the mat does not smell and everything from the lockers, water station, bags are all in working order. All the instructors I've met have been amazing. They are all energetic, enthusiastic and helpful. They walk around during class to help and provide motivation. If you need any additional assistance, they are approachable and willing to help.
I've been a member for a month and have noticed great improvements in my health, most of all in cardio. I love going to class and look forward to it everyday! I'm very happy with my decision to join ILKB and would recommend it to everyone.
