The United Nations was once quoted saying Toronto is "the most diverse city in the world," and With good reason. This busy city is broken into a variety of diverse cultures and districts such as Bloor/Yorkville, Cabbagetown, Chinatown, Corso Italia, Distillery Historic District, Downtown Yonge, Entertainment District, Fashion District,Financial District + Underground City,Greektown, Harbourfont, Kensington Market, Koreatown, Little India, Little Italy, Little Poland,Old Town, Portugal Village, Queen Street West, Rosedale + Forest Hill, St. Lawrence Market,The Beaches, Toronto Islands.

When you enter anyone of these pockets throughout the city you feel like you have just entered a different part of the world. A few minutes away and you are somewhere completely different. There are over 100 different languages and dialects spoken throughout this large and densely populated metropolis.

I have had the opportunity to personally experience each section of this...

Willow - Eat to the beat 2007

I had the privilege of attending the 2007 "Eat to the Beat" fund raiser. I met the founder as well as a number of the board members. What impressed me the most with these ladies is their sincerity and passionate nature on such a horrifying topic.

Assisting other women in such a traumatic time in there life is what Willow is all about. I personally was affected with this terrible disease after a close friend of ours passed away from breast cancer. If you are looking to donate to a worthy cause, I would definitely suggest you consider this one.

At the very least, attend their annual fund raiser. The food is out of this world, and local food show celebrity's can be spotted throughout.

Service with a smile

My wife, myself and our daughter frequently dine throughout a variety of locations within the Greater Toronto Area. A lot of times we like going out after dinner, Grab a few drinks and snack on an appetizer or two. We have noticed on more then one occasion our server seems to have a problem with a party of 3 sitting down, only to order from the starter Menu and nothing more.

Kelsey's is always an exception. The staff is always friendly, no matter what or how much we order. That being said we unanimously chose the "Kelsey's Starter Trio" as our number one choice for an appetizer selection. The combination of friendly staff, comfortable environment, Four Cheese Spinach Dip,Classic barbecue Chicken Wings,Roasted Chicken Quesadilla
followed with a frothy draft beer for myself, Smirnoff ice for the wife, and a cold Mug Root Beer Float for our daughter makes this in our opinion, One of the best places to go on a Friday night with the family. Oh yeah, and If you have any room after that, Try their hot Apple Crumble with vanilla ice cream, sprinkled with a hint of cinnamon, and a specialty tea that just hits the spot. Wait till you hear what we had for dinner ;-)

Love the apple crumble thing...it's one of the best things there, and i actually think about saving room for it when i order dinner.

Since I'm on a low-carb diet,I always have the wings when I'm there. They're so flexible @ Kelsey's, they'll even make them without the dusted coating, if u ask! :)
